right, because if the shoe was on the other foot, none of our bi-polar fans would be blowing a gasket right now.
Canuck fans, stop being such whiney, *****y hypocrites. it was a push off, and Burrows admitted on the radio after the game that he made contact with Quick's nob (hehe). if that happened to Luongo last year, he'd STILL be on the ice.
**** happens, sometimes you get the blown call, sometimes you get blown up by it. but lets go re-read the NASH GDT for a little context.
Some might be blowing a gasket, but they would be the usual suspects around here. They would be the exception rather than the norm, as opposed to the massive amounts of whining coming from almost all of the Kings fans.
Luongo does go down too easy, and it costs the team. Heck, even he's pretty much admitted that he needs to do a better job fighting through the contact.
Obviously there's a lot of antagonism from the Kings fans due to being eliminated by the Canucks last season in the playoffs. Perhaps they should be more concerned about making the playoffs this year than what happen last year.
I can't believe that LA Kings fans are beaking Canucks fans about playoff success. They're one of the few franchises who can't. They didn't even deserve their trip to the finals (Gretzky high-stick, Fraser no-call).
Pretty much agree with the sentiments here. Doughty going down easy and sliding/flying 5 feet into his goaltender was a pretty unlikely reaction to a shove from Daniel Sedin of all people. Doughty wasn't doing himself any favours last night with the officials thanks to his constant beaking and diving.
Always thought the "Bertuzzi Rule" was damn stupid, especially in light of the carte blanche defenders get in front of the net to lay the lumber on opposing forwards. Lord knows I'd hate this goal if it was scored on us, but I can live with it, especially after some of the weak sauce calls we've had on no-goals that should have been goals and vice versa(hello Minnesota game...)
Daniel "The Maniel" Sedin needs to be disciplined. The video evidence is stacked against him. A DISGUSTING and CLASSLESS goal that shows he hates Canada by pushing one of their up-and-coming defenseman in a game of HOCKEY, where we appreciate finesse and hard-work...not dirty play or physicality!! This isn't basketball.
Thank the lord for Colin Campbell, master of suspensions. Surely he will be brought to justice, the goal reversed and the Kings, one of the calmest and nicest fanbases on these boards, rightfully given the win.
Either Doughty dove or he weights about 45 pounds.
Well, we know he doesn't weigh 45 pounds.
If ever there were a top d-man who just might eat himself out of the league, Doughty is the guy.
If I were the Kings, I'd consider hiring Jim Schoenfeld as a coach.
Doughty needs some tough love right about now, and Schoenfeld is the best man for the job "have another doughtnut you fat pig (repeatedly)."
If that doesn't motivate him, nothing will.
