Briere and Hartnell rolling into the corner completely sums up this team right now

Hahaha this is truly embarrassing.
On a bright side it's not the normal 7pm game.

Honestly, just play our 4th line the whole rest of the game. They're the only ones playing correctly.

Tried to skate during warmups, couldn't finish. Hit the showers, and left. He's not playing.

some of you guys make it hard to visit this subforum. yeah bad streak. its pretty clear some of you are 15 years old or cannot comprehend the fact that every team goes through a rough patch. obviously having it be this late in the year is hard to accept, but this is a team that made the finals last year, is in 1st now, and currently has the most depth in the league. is it because we are spoiled that the team hasnt lost more than 3 in a row this season. probably, but its time to sack up and get back on track

That's why I love Shelley as much as people bash him, he will give it his all for his team to keep going.

Plus he got Boyle with a good one. Hopefully he goes after Avery and get a three gamer.

It's frustrating to watch a team night in and night out and see their performance the past few games. They're bad, really, really bad right now. It's a worry. It's not just a rough patch IMO. They are struggling offensively, defensively, on special teams, and their goaltending has been bad. I'm worried.

Dude. We can complain about our team. Better than no talking at all on the already-dead boards. There is no optimism in sports, only winning and losing.

It's a bad sign because if you can't compete at this point in the season when the stakes are ramped up..you are going to have problems come playoff time. Yes this is their bad funk ..but it's going to be an ugly one to get out of....

I have to agree with you. It's not that we are struggling in one or two areas, our whole team is struggling. Our supposedly good defense looks beatable. We havent scored more than 3 goals in a game since Feb 1st so our offense is struggling. Our goaltending has looked much worse, which bad D plays a factor in that. And our special teams...enough said.

right past few games. they could come back and win their next ten. this rough patch is then moot point. i agree though they have been bad but my point is that half these posters are abandoning ship over a pin hole in the hull

Its games like these where I feel like having Carcillo in the lineup on a consistent basis would be a good thing. We need some spunk.

Versteeg is the most selfish player in the NHL. As soon as he comes, the Flyers make a tailspin. Coincidence?

Hopefully they pull a reverse 2010 Phillies and pull out of this slump just as the playoffs start.
