We should still be on the power-play and 1-0 down.

That Richards slash is unbelievable though. How is it possible to only see one of those? They were a split-second apart.

The Rangers' *****ing has earned them a goal.

It's not like this team deserves to win, but what was that...4 missed calls in a row (for both teams)?

I have a feeling Giroux or Briere will go off.

I hate the bad angle shot goalie going down nonsense that Reese teaches...Upper shelf is always open...Staying up on bad angles is much more effective in that situation....It happens way too much.

I don't know if that's Reese's teaching, I think that was just Boosh having a brain fart.

You can cheat the paddle over to cover pass there, but you can't lean backwards like that. Bad form.

Well the Boosh comment was a separate thought. But to me 'one of those games' just means one that's constantly frustrating, whether its because of our play, the refs, or bounces. So the phrase has been fitting.

I had a Flyers fan tell me yesterday after the game that they are "waiting" for the playoffs and "don't really have anything to play for but 1st place in the East".

Is that the popular consensus amongst other Flyer fans?

Yes. At times you can see their passion and intensity, but you can tell they just can't get up for certain games.

I disagree, but if you're going to go into that stance, you can't pull your shoulder a foot off the post, leave your foot below the goal line and expect not to get lit up. I understand why he did it, but still.

I see it happening a lot is why i am assuming it is being taught.I fret much more on bad angle shots than straight on shots in the slot when i watch them play...If a goalie stays up, the Waffle and glove stay higher covering the high side on bad angles....

...and also make it a lot more difficult to get to a low-angle far post shot, especially if there's traffic and a possible pass option......

It's possible to cover that spot but still be down. But not the way Boosh played it there.

Wow, Nodl waited till the last possible second to let that pass go, really pulled Lundqvist to the right post. That's a nice save, damn it.

Probably will end up as save of the game. Highlight reel save.
