Galvao got jobbed.

Too bad.

Horrible decision.

I don't see Galvao winning the 2nd at all. I thought the only big shot from either man came from Vila about halfway through the round when he landed a really nice punch through a covering up Galvao and then a few kicks after. I mean, Galvao landed a knee later in the round, but I thought Vila won it. 3rd round I gave to Galvao, for sure, though.

Anyone saying he was "robbed" are whining hard. It was an insanely close fight due to the inaction. Either guy could have won it and it wouldn't have been a robbery either way.

The West v. Dantas fight is one of the best of the year. Other than that, pretty bad card.

Watching Ricardo Tirloni fight was fun, though, too. Nice upside.

I really hope Wiuff doesn't make his way into the 205 tourney, he could very well smother everyone on route to $100,000. Bellator has nobody at 205 who can stop him from taking them to the ground.

How much will Askren be tested Saturday night? It's probably his toughest fight to date.

The Ben Askren factor in full effect.

I thought Jay did enough to win the belt, it could've went either way. Askren might have his hands full with Lima (or Saunders).

Thing is Jay didnt win his fight to get to Askren in the first place, so karma was in full effect on Saturday night.

Isnt Saunder's weakness his questionable take down defense and wrestling?

Im kind of pulling for Lima tbh.

Should make for some interesting fights if nothing else.

I'm pulling for Lima also, go MFC!

I forgot about Heiron not really deserving to be there in the first place, karma is a b***h!

This weekends' Canadian card is looking outstanding! 2 tourney finals, Roger the Hulk Hollet's debut, the Polish hammer making his second appearance.....

MAIN CARD (MTV2)

* Douglas Lima vs. Ben Saunders (welterweight tourney finale)
* Alexander Shlemenko vs. Vitor Vianna (middleweight tournament final)
* John Hawk vs. Roger Hollett
* Alexandre "Popo" Bezerra vs. Doug Evans

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike.com)

* Mike Corey vs. Chris Horodecki
* Chuck Mady vs. Denis Puric
* Eric Moon vs. Josh Shockley
* Mike Sledzion vs. Taylor Solomon
* Shawn Levesque vs. Matt Van Buren

I thought I read that Horodecki's matchup was on the main card now, I could be wrong but I hope we see it. Lima/Saunders is going to be a hell of a fight.

They switched Hordecki to the prelims.
Really like the top two fights, not really into the rest.

The Shlemenko-Vianna fight is going to be good too.

Been waiting for this for awhile.

I'm really not a fan of them having Hordecki on the prelims, he's one of the best 155ers they have. Is the guy Evans is fighting an up and comer or something, surely they aren't bumping the Polish Hammer for Doug Freak'n Evans.

I'm glad Hollet is finally getting a chance on a bigger stage, he's always been a very promising Canadian 205er.

Really like this card.

Finally got around to watching this past weeks card. Perhaps it was because I already knew the results, but I didn't find it overly entertaining. Awesome sweep by Saunders to close out the first round, but man Lima is for real. He gets such great power from awkward angles.

Lima is certainly a can't miss prospect. I was a little worried that we MFC followers were over-rating him a bit due to the lack of competition, looks like we weren't over-rating him at all. I feel really confident that he'll be able to take out Askren.

I don't know how long Bellator will be able to hold onto him.

Well if he beats Askren he'll probably be tied into some terrible contract, so it might be awhile.

Interesting, I don't pay attention to the Bellator contracts. What is the deal with the contracts their champs get?

On another note, apparantly if Eddie beats Chandler (which he should), we'll see Alvarez/Aoki II in Bellator in the not so distant future. With the all but certain demise of SF, I really hope Bellator goes after more "names" like Aoki.

I don't know all of the details, but I think its similar to a champions clause that the UFC has. Many guys have said they're better off losing in the finals. Hopefully this means Saunders will make his way back to the UFC asap.

Hopefully a change comes with the move to spike, going head to head with the UFC is about the stupidest thing they could've done. I hope they go with Thurs/Fri/Sun (one of) nights.

Bellator uploaded the full Alvarez/Chandler fight to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HziG9DBfJf0

No spoilers in the video title or anything. Great back-and-forth fight.

That fight was amazing.

Best of the year so far I would say.
