They won't win because I'm actually going to be able to watch this game.

Games against the Ducks are usually high scoring. Could be what this team needs to bust a few slumps.

Too bad that it is normally Anaheim scoring more Especially at Honda Center. Hopefully our pk can hold Anaheim for a change and the Sedins have a good night defensively vs. Getzlaf y co.. Their counter attack after the Sedin cycle has got them alot of goals in the past. I do not know if Vancouver can get a physical edge, with Anaheim having big physical forwards, but i hope Foweler, Sbisa and Vishovsky are pressured early and often. Beuchemin is hopefully playing like he did in Toronto as well.

That's a brutal looking line up other than the top line

Anyone fill me in on how Lapierre has played? I've been away from games.

My impression of him has been not that great. He seems a bit lost on the defensive side of things and you don't see much tenacity which is basically all we need from him. For a player touted as a great skater he needs to move his feet more.

He seems to be having problems grasping the Canucks system in limited minutes on the fourth line.

He is definitely on a short leash and so far has kept the yakking and antics under control.

Probably the worst ice in the league. Choppy, physical, crash the net affair. Coencidently the type of game Anaheim has built themselves to play. Big team that can give the Canucks fits, doubt it's 1/3 Canucks fans again either. Ducks are tough at home. Yet another tough task...

Top teams are very complacent right now.

Detroit and Philedalphia both playing just as lax as the Canucks over their last 10 games.

Exactly. And at least teams are having to grind out wins v the Nucks, Philadelphia and Detroit are losing in some spectacular ways.

Biggest concern I have these days is that teams seemed to have figured out how Kes has been getting all of his goals. Whenever he goes on one of his skates through center, he gets at least 2 defenders closing down on him, and the shadowing D-man always throws his stick right in the shooting lane as Kes winds up for one of his wristers. He needs to find ways to get his shot away, whether it's by creating space of the puck, or shooting more on the powerplay.

Anyways, the Ducks have a mean, physical lineup tonight. They are going to try and hammer us hard early. If we can weather the early physicality, we might be alright. That being said... i'm not sure if we're up to the task. 3-2 Ducks in OT.

6-0 NYR over the Flyers.

I hoping Kesler can net a couple goals tonight.

I say 3-2 Canucks.
