Ott checked.

Pretty weak call in my opinion. I've been butt ended way, way worse than that harmless little poke. He hardly even touched him and he gets tossed.

To be clear, I meant that 3 guys go after Ott and he can't even manage to draw a call out of it because of a moronic move on his part.

Ott stabbed with his stick Clifford as the refs were separating him from the scrum.

I have little hope to win this one with Ott out the game.

Ott deserved a minor penalty and nothing more. He was getting mauled by three guys and that wasn't a spear. It was a little poke on the wrists of Clifford who came in and initiated it with Ott.

Ott certainly instigated that whole thing with a slash on the back of the ankle of Clifford (or was it Greene?). That was the weakest game misconduct ever though.

There's no latitude for the refs on the game misconduct. Once they call the spearing major the misconduct is required. If the player makes a spearing motion and makes contact with his target it's a major.

They could have called a double minor.

Contact isn't even necessary.

It is for a major. Otherwise it's a double-minor and no game misconduct.

I hate Brown as well, by far the biggest diver in the NHL. However, honestly speaking I think it's largely due to the fact that the refs fall for his **** every time. I guess that's what happens when you have the "C"

I have searched on youtube for some Dustin Brown dives and surprised to find so few, hopefully he gains more notoriety for his A+ performances as I'm sure it's becoming more evident.

Didn't mind the LAK but it's really shown how badly managed they are, from going into scrums after every whistle over nothing and having a GM that has the audacity to call out the NHL on calls and accusing them of being after his job... Same with their whiny coach and goaltender... They get far more calls then against...
