I think Albanian Teacher's Day would have been a better choice.

Indeed. All I care about at this point. Were not making the playoffs.

Since the playoffs are pretty much a dream at this point. Ill say 9-0 Jackets. Nash with the Ovechktrick, later to be renamed the Nashtrick.

Meh, I want this team to play balls to the wall. If they can somehow win 13-14 games the rest of the way, they have a chance to qualify.

Please consider my perspective. If they had truly gone or stayed in the tank in February, they could be fighting for a top 3 pick, but now it's just not possible. The team and the coaching staff pulled themselves up, got positioned to fight for a spot, then had this road trip. At this point, it's time for this roster to learn to win. We've had ten years of bad teams that weren't bad enough to get the Ovechkins, Crosbys, Stamkos etc. There are none of those in the 2011 draft and if there were, the Jackets wouldn't be getting one. I'm guessing the only major game changer is Larsson and I figure he'll be an Oiler or a Senator.

Screw tanking, raise expectations, develop resiliency, maybe even create a positive enough atmosphere to make Upshall want to sign up for 3-4 more years. Time to grow up and become winners.

we have 4 (FOUR, QUATRO, insert french and italian for four here) game in hand on Calgary, atleast 2 games in hand on most we're fighting with...I swear some of you just want a new reason to complain around here....

Until we are mathematically eliminated, I'm doing my best to keep hope alive.

Jackets win, 3-1.

It starts now.

I'm with you. This team drives me bat**** freaking insane sometimes, but it's not over til it's over and I'm not giving up on them. They've played inspired hockey for lengthy stretches this season, why can't they do it again?

5-2 good guys, Nasher and RJ bring the offense with a little help from Scottie.

With 3 games left, we still have an opportunity to grab our stated goal of 6 points in this five game segment. Let's just put our heads down and get to work. This is not cliffjump time. It is, however, time to man up and play as hard as possible. 4-2 Jackets.

The slump stops here! I don't care who scores, just that the Jackets end up with more goals than the Blues.

This game is...hmmmm......something. I just can't think of the word.

I've been believing for 22 weeks now, why would I give up with just 6 weeks to go?

Curious how hoping for a better future is whining?

If you want to avoid the tag, all you have to do is quit talking about how we aren't going to make the playoffs and our upcoming draft position.

There will be time enough for that. I thought we were done in late Dec, but I saw improvement in the team and we made a nice run. I don't want to regress, I'd rather build off of it with good play down the stretch. This was a predictable outcome to the road trip, but there's no reason we can't start a run tonight.

So here's to as many Jackets victories as we can get down the stretch, starting with tonight. The rest of it will sort itself out.
