Pegula's Daughter(?) - Writing live blogs and twittering
You'd have to wonder if Dad knows that this is going on. Nothing inflammatory said, but still, for a guy who has been keeping a pretty low media profile over the past few months...
The Pegulas' dog is named Sidney. Crosby to the Sabres (e4). Eklund reporting that Crosby isn't really in Nova Scotia visiting his family, he's holed up at the Adam's Mark in Buffalo awaiting word that he's been traded to the Sabres. Eklund also reporting, though, that the trade might not go through, and if it doesn't, it's not because he has no sources, but because Pittsburgh pulled back because of Malkin's injury.
OK, so I finally got around to checking this out. It's pretty cool to know the owner's daughter loves the Sabres enough to blog about every game. If she's allowed to continue her commentary, it could offer some interesting insides.
It also appears that she likes Drew Stafford.

I think it's awesome that the whole family loves hockey.
Are you guys kidding...this has the potential to be the greatest thing to ever happen to Buffalo sports. Having his daughter being so excited about buying the Sabres is awesome.....I really can't wait for him to take ownership.....there are going to be big, big changes.
Who cares what she writes, she's always positive from a team perspective, showing she loves the Sabres. Showing the family cares, and that translates into caring about winning.
What more could you want as an owner....just sold his business for billions and has always been a hockey fan......big, big changes!!!!
I think it's good and all that they love hockey and are excited but they might want to lock down those twitters. You know some idiot is going to start harassing them as soon as Pegula starts making decisions people don't agree with...keeping Darcy is probably going to be the first thing.

Agreed. There will be some (anonymous) idiots who start ripping her/her father if Darcy is retained. Once the honeymoon period wears off after a year or two, and big free agents still aren't coming to Buffalo, it'll start getting more vitriolic and she's probably going to have to start restricting access to her friends and reasonable followers. For now, though, it's going to be all rainbows and butterflies. I hope she enjoys it while it lasts.

It's awesome to get a "behind the scenes" glance inside the Pegula family, but eventually things will go bad and she'll hear about it.
