Must be nice to have a second line center capable of making plays like that. That is what I mean when I say Stoll isn't a 2nd line center. Just no creativty.
Once again our PP costs us points. And please spare the BS about it being hard to change the system. The PP is god awful yet they stubbornly refuse to change the system. They continue the low to high crap, the continue to send Glass Jarret out there, they continue to have Williams and Johnson on the bench.
And to think people used to complain about Van Boxmeer. Kompon makes Van Boxmeer look like Toe Blake.
I said before the Vancouver game that Bernier should have started that one and Quick should have played in the 4-pt game tonight. No s***.
Pure bias.

You have to be joking... Benn's scored the exact same goal on Quick earlier in the season and Morrow's goal was a gifted to him in the slot on the quickest shot of the night. No way was Bernier to blame for this loss tonight.
Haters gonna hate. It's not like this team was setting the NHL on fire with Quick in net lately either.
To put it simply, the players in front of the goalie, need to protect that crease. There's been a few times now where the forwards make contact with the goalie and the other team gets the goal. It's almost like we've gone soft. Can't be doing that.
Meh the Kings aren't winning the cup with Murray, at least if we miss the playoffs he's gone right? RIGHT? RIGHT?
Probably not. The Kings will lose out on the playoffs against Anaheim to close the season. Dean will say he loved how they competed and they are close to putting it together.
I'm embarrassed by how kings fans treat Bernier. If Quick were in the net, the votes of no confidence would be excuses. You can't fault Bernier on any of the goals. Don't show your lack of knowledge by trying to. You're just embarrassing yourself.
you win some, you lose some. I get that you guys are frustrated but as fans are we not supposed to support our team? Its not like those guys aren't trying. If anyone is to blame its kompon. He needs to change things up. Run something different on the power play. But as fans you have to support the team no matter what. At least we got a point right? Optimism.
Isn't he third in the NHL with PP assists? Hard to get them when he's stuck with the second unit right now. Martinez and Johnson should be option #1 right now. Doughty and Stoll aren't getting it done.
It's so frustrating and I can't take another year out of the playoffs.
Not just you. I don't think it's a systematic issue but it's getting a little concerning the way this team wilts when the momentum goes against them and there's nobody on the bench who can rally the troops. That goes for both players and coaches, though.
I completely agree. If only we had a cap.... oh never mind, we have Brown
We are two points ahead of 9th, even up or better in terms of games played on EVERYONE who could finish in playoff positions, with a schedule full of teams we have beaten up this season even with this coaching staff. There's a time where I find panicking a common option for me. Not tonight. There are going to be a lot of 3 point games in this stretch up ahead. We are going to lose some of them. Get used to it.

Agree completely. I love Doughty, but Johnson needs some #1 PP time.
I agree with you Smoney ( with the exception of the embarrassed part). JB is a rookie and has played his butt off for us this season. He is going to be a star in this league for years. He got jobbed tonight and sure, he didn't make that game winning save for us on the break a way but he did make one in the first, what do we really expect from the kid?
JB is fine but he has a ways to go before he reaches his best, blaming the game on him means that you take away the responsibility from everyone else.
Its a team game, if one person blows it for you on one play then another should be able to erase the mistake. Its about balance.
That is why to me were have only one place to look for where to place the blame when things go the way they did tonight.
But I have had this opinion for awhile now.

I think Doughty's the main reason that our power play has been suffering. Stats aren't everything but they're pretty telling: he put up 9G-22A-31P in 82 games on the power play last year and has 4G-8A-12P in 59 games this year, putting him on pace for 17 power play points.
What is the point of playing the backup in a Division game? And playing the starter in a non-division game down the stretch?
We have two very talented goaltenders either way. Every point is precious in every game, Quick played against the more offensively capable team. It was a vote of confidence to Quick if anything, especially after Bernier's shutout and Quick coming off a blowout against Detroit.
