Duncan Keith

Kuc says

Quote:
Duncan Keith said he'll have hand evaluated tomorrow. Defenseman got hit with puck in third.
Hopefully it is minor like a deep bruise or something

If he's out, no longer than one week I'm guessing.

I hope it's nothing major. Keith is starting to play good hockey.

Yes, last year I noticed that he was starting to improve. I even said to my son: "Son", I said, "one day it wouldn't surprise me if Duncan Keith is a decent player".

Kudo's to me I say.....

did you just give yourself kudos for saying a player during his norris trophy season would one day be a decent player?

I think it was a joke aimed at this:

... as if he is just NOW starting. But to be fair to Stingo he has been off his game most of the year, even though he was still good.

Not too worried, he's a real tough guy. If it was terrible he wouldn't have sat on the bench the rest of that game. Wouldn't mind calling someone up for the panthers game if he is hurt. Afterall, it is the panthers...

Here's all I can find: http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nh...ory?id=6187599

Lots of speculation and then says; "could have a fracture but the extent of the injury is still being determined.."

Hopefully it is a bruise. If it was a fracture, it could require surgery and he could be out a few weeks. I busted mine up last year and got lucky the doctor was able to use a reduction to set it with no surgery, but the rehab was still a month.

Knowing Duncs, he'd probably play throught it, whether he should or shouldn't.

For sure.

The guy played the next game after having multiple teeth shattered out of his mouth.

Right, thats why i'm not overly worried. If it was a really bad break he would have gone to the locker room in a blow out game like that.
