Kari seemed to back up too fast on that one. Beautiful shot though.
Yeah, a bit too Turco-esque for my taste.
Ribeiro is absolutely sick, though! Almost worth it just to see that move. They get a point when they probably shouldn't have, and it's just one of those 2.5 pt games with that OT-winning tiebreaker rule. Still two games in hand against the Flames, too.
Goligoski logged in 29+ min. and his defensive blunders showed tonight.
Richards was pretty invisible tonight, he clearly needs to practice again.
Kari needs a break, bad! Raycroft needs the start against Minny.
Absolutly brutal game by Goligoski. He could of had an easy hat trick tonight with all the scoring chances he blew. He wasn't the only guy with the chance to win the game for us tonight, but he was definetly the guy with the most chances. That's not even mentioning all the godawful turnovers and poor defence.
I was going to say that only picking up a loser point isn't a terrible blow for Dallas, but if every single other team in the conference continues to win all the time then they need to start finishing these things out in regulation.
Goes without saying, but it's a must win game two nights from now.
Minnesota plays NSH tomorrow and we get them on a 2nd night of a back-to-back. We need to exploit the situation early and win in regulation.
Would've liked to see Goligoski pass it back to Langs on the 3 on 1 honestly.
Still have no idea how Eriksson completely missed the net when he was that wide open on the PP at the end of the 3rd.
But it happens. They have no one to blame but themselves for the way they started tonight. Very winnable game but they decided not to show up until 5 minutes were left in the 1st. Kipper won them the two points going forward.
Gotta pull themselves up and get ready for another huge game on Friday, against a team that hasn't won here in nearly a decade. Pleaseeeee play Raycroft on Friday. And I'm going to assume Richards will play much better on Friday after his first game back and his first time really playing in that type of atmosphere in nearly a month.

The first period cost us one point, kari was weak, the team looked like they were not interested in winning the game at all. They started playing when the second started , someone tell them that the game doesn't start after the first intermission!
So hard to tell in real time. I think it deflected, but I'm also biased. :-P
I am happy they seem to have bounced back to their resilient selves from earlier in the season. Makes it a lot more entertaining to watch. And I'm really happy they are starting to pull points consistently again.
Goligoski was not great tonight, but everyone has nights where they fight the puck. Even as he struggled, he wasn't the primary issue on most of the goals against, and his misses were just off, including off the post on a great rush in on the late power play. I can live with a "bad" night like that.
Richards looked like he was at about 90 percent of his normal speed. A full practice should help that.
Given how it started, and given how they've struggled with the Flames this year, I can live with it. It could have easily become another 7-4 beatdown.
Would've liked to see Goligoski pass it back to Langs on the 3 on 1 honestly.
After the first look I thought the same thing, but after they showed the replay the defensemen had clearly dove in that passing lane which would have required an absolutely perfect saucer from Goligoski to capitalize.

He better start working on his saucer passes then ...IF he needs to be Zubov-esque.

K..well Richards was on the other side. Could've gone with that.
Really upset about the first period, but really happy about our resiliency and the tenacity this team shows to pull out a point. We could have buried it, and should have won multiple times in the 3rd and OT, but the bounces didn't go our way, and Kipper was good. SO is a wash.
Not unhappy with the outcome, though I am unhappy we got swept in the season series.
Raycroft NEEDS, holy **** does he NEED, to start on Friday. Kari doesn't look the same. Friday will be a must win, but Kari needs some time to get his game back to 100%.
In defense of Kari, he definitely got better as the game went on (shoot out excluded). He's done that couple times this season (start really slow but turn into the Kari we expect him to be as the game goes on).
This game would've been dead to water if he doesn't stop the shorthanded breakaway.
Still think Raycroft should start on Friday though.
