Lubo is also a *'** +9. Only Letang is close, and he's already distant in pts.

VOITE LUBO

Watching games like this make it so frustrating, because you see what RPG is capable of when they give a ****.

I think Fowler is just mentally exhausted, the mistakes he's making are just plain brain fart material. Lilja ... well, he's Lilja. Maybe he keeps seeing Teemu out there and he goes into flashback mode and relives "The Turnover" in real time.

DEAR GOD, I had two Rangers fans behind me that every freaking time a Ranger thought about breathing on a puck they had to get all excited and start yelling. They both had this extremely irritating guttural voice and I once mistaked the woman for a child screaming. I swear the guy was cheering for Stephan at the top of his lungs with less than 10 seconds left.

Sexton had a good game tonight, too bad he couldn't get a point or two.

Very good game indeed. Pretty much everyone played well even Sexton! Lilja-Fowler isn't working right now so let's hope that Sutton gets to play against Colorado.

Perry's goal looked a lot like Datsyuk's goal from last week.

Hiller-Ellis pair would be quite good for the next season and even better if Emery can fill in (like right now).

Games look at overall performance, NHL looks at the amount of points. Not surprised they gave the number 1 to Ryan. Either way.

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin

Just watched the highlights of the 2nd and 3rd. I hope they carry this swagger to the Colorado game and don't have a let down.

Sorry you're working the night shift, I know how ****** that shift is...

Anyway, we had just scored a goal and had all the momentum. Our 4th line Is on the ice and chip tried to dump it into the opposing zone but he didn't dump it far enough. After he dumped it, he signaled for the line change so as he's heading for the bench door, his replacement comes on the ice, and just before he steps onto the bench he notices the puck didn't make it all the way down and he changes his mind and goes and plays the puck to get it further in the zone causing a too many men penalty. Rangers scored on the PP making it a game again at 4-2. Fortunately Ellis makes that amazing save later which stole a goal from them and lead to one for us, which deflated their team entirely. If he doesn't make that incredible save, it's 4-3 and they have all the momentum.

Basically he just made a dumb mistake that put the Rangers right back into the game.

I am sad to say but I miss Jason Blake. He was tenacious on the forecheck and he won a lot of pucks along the board for Teemu and Saku to create their magic.

Blakes forechecking is missed but I don't want to see that 2nd line broken up, not yet anyway. Mac was great there last night.

RPG
Mac-Koivu-Selanne
Ruutu-Marchant-Blake
Winchester-Chipchura-Parros

I think Blake would work well with a Winchester or Ruutu because they both are physical and can cycle the puck pretty well.

PS I can't believe no one started an Ellis thread for that save against the Rangers and let's not forget the sprawling save against Dallas in OT that saved the extra point for the Ducks.. Seems Ryan is a product of Ellis

Edit: haha I start a thread and end up looking like a tard.

I'm still fairly frustrated we couldn't do anything to upgrade our 3rd line center. How amazing would the lineup work with a guy like Weiss?

I love Marchant but that line of Ruutu Marchant and Sexton does nothing for me.

At this point I'd prefer to see Blake on the 2nd line and Mac on the 3rd line with Ruutu/Sexton and Winchester/Ryan.

Before you say Ryan is such a waste on the 3rd line I'd argue that the 3rd line is a waste of ice time and he doesn't have to play 3rd line minutes.

Really it would be like 2 2nd lines and they should get equal ES minutes. I think this would keep Koivu/Selanne fresher and balance out our Syscoring...

I also really like having a brute like Winchester with Getzalf and Perry... no one would f with them. Ruutu would draw all the attention on the 3rd line as well.

Winchester Getzlaf Perry
Blake Koivu Selanne
Ruutu/Sexton Mac Ryan
Ruutu/Marchant/Parros/Chipchura/Brookbank

Sexton would only be an option on the 3rd line if we wanted more skill there. Ruutu would then drop to the 4th line.

Ruutu, Marchant, Sexton is blahhh.

Really like Ruutu and would like to see his minutes grow somehow...Cant say im up for the idea of Winchester on the top line or even on the top PP, but it is worth the experiment since Mcmill didnt make much of his chance

I would rather see Parros there over Sexton, or even Brookbank (ya I went there)

Mcmill will surely go back to the 3rd once Blake comes back

side note:
Chip, Sexton, Fowler are risks to the team the rest of the year.

I'd at lilja to that list. Lately he has looked slow and done more bad than good blocking shots.
