Double deflection. Ponikarovsky's goal.

The new power play is AWESOME!

Kopitar really is a brilliant 2 way player. On that shift, he has a takeaway in the defensive zone, leads the rush out, feeds the puck off and crashes the net, yet when the puck rattles along the boards from the missed shot, he busts his ass to be the first man back

This will be interesting.. Detroit is 16-1-2 when leading after 1. The Kings are 19-0-1 when leading after 2.

... OH TESTIFY!!!

There are always these moments I see each game with Kopitar that remind me just how terrific of a player he is.

The mushroom cloud you see to the northeast is the Dead Wings BB. Hilarious. Someone actually said the Kings would be easy in the first round.

speaking not about the legality or illegality of it, this hit is seriously terrifying. his whole body just changes direction, and it's only because of his head. so ****ing scary.

nothing makes me happier than seeing Wings fans cry about the refs. They are totally oblivious to how many calls go their way for just being the wings

I love it when we can just quit griping and support our team during these gdts/

I mean we all know that there are problems but how can we ask our team to give it their all when we give up on them every time they make a mistake?

During the games I think that we should be fans, cheer clap whatever you do to support the team win or lose and then after the game go ahead and melt down if that is how you feel.

One more period of hard fought hockey.

GO KINGS GO!!!

What galls me is NO ONE is talking about putting some ****ing padding on those stanchions or redesigning the damn things. They should be soft!

Anyway... back to exciting Kings hockey.

In the OHL for awhile there were big heavy foam rubber pads around those things and it seemed to help. Its better than what the NHL has now.

Terrifying is the right word for it, hope he plays Hockey again... but any damage to spine.. and the concussion ... makes it seem doubtful.

what scares me in a different sense, was in my hockey training earlier, instead of taking someone to the outside by the benches, i just dumped the puck in and skated inside them to chase the dump. Even though we dont hit in training, i was fearful of skating in that area
