 Dammit. I really liked Law with the Phantoms. Well this could be good for him. Maybe he will get some NHL time.

He'll get about as much of a chance as the Flyers gave him.

The problem is that Law simply doesn't have the talent or quickness to keep a regular NHL roster spot.

He'll have an easier time cracking Minnesota's lineup, but he's going to have to work his tail off to stay there.

Could he be the next Todd White? Leave the Phantoms to have respectable numbers and regular spot? I doubt it.

But now we really have to press hard and resign P. White

It's not that big of a loss. We've got guys like Carter, Richards, Eager, Umberger and Ruzicka (among others) ready to play on the Phantoms this season. Kirby Law is really a guy that you can spare to get any one of the aformentioned names into a regular lineup.

The only time he ever got called up was due to the injuries. how long was he in the organization and he still hadnt cut it. He's a good guy but it will be no major loss.
