I'd say he'll get about 3.5 - 4

I hope Ottawa gets him. And I`d say 4-5m, he should get extra money for every interview he does too

He's one of the best UFA goalies available and if he leaves Phoenix, I think 5m+ per. If he stays, I wouldn't be surprised if he signed for around 4-4.5m per.

Personally, I'd love to see him sign with my Avs

I'm guessing Burke throws big money at him if he makes it to the UFA market.

I hope Phoenix re-signs him (they will) just to piss everyone off.

hasn't Bryzgalov gone on record saying he wants to be a coyote for the rest of his career? i think he definitely re-signs there.

The only way Bryz signs with anyone other than Phoenix is if the Coyotes relocate.

I wouldnt be surprised if he gets over 6 million a season, especially if he can carry the Coyotes past the 1st round of the playoffs and into a deep run.

I think the avs, devils, islanders, and the lightning are the teams that would pay alot of money if he makes it to free agency. if tampa has money left over from signing some dman and stamkos, that'd be his main target. but the devils and avs seem the most likely to have the money and willingness to get him july 1st imho.

As long as the Yotes stay in Phoenix, Bryzgalov will plant his roots there and sign long term. He will definitely get 5 - 6 million. He easily compares to the likes of Miller, Kiprusoff, Ward and Lundqvist in worth to his team.

If the team relocates, all bets are off. Look for him to explore options in Colorado or Tampa Bay.

He is the only legit, for sure starter availible this offseason in FA. He could get into a sitch where several teams are pitching wads of the stuff at him. Rubles, even.

I think this thread is warranted. Bryz has said he wants to stay in Phoenix, but I think it's more than probably there will be no Phoenix as early as next season. If this is the case, I see a number of teams in the market for a starting goalie.

Atlanta
Colorado
Ottawa
Philadelphia
Tampa Bay
Toronto (maybe, depends on Reimer)

The top names out there are him, and Vokoun. I could see each making in the 5mil range, but I'm not sure if much more than that is offered. Unfortunately for Vokoun, that means a pay cut.

I say it comes down to Tampa and Toronto in the end.

Burke will overpay to get him, just like every other free agent he sets his sights on. Probably between 5.5 to 6 million for 5 years.

He's what Halak should become, but already. Halak gets 4 million. I'd say 5 million would be a discount at this point.

I could see him making 6+

Sounds right. Burke has a supernatural ability to express interest to targetted players without saying anything, I guess he does it with body language or dance, like a bee.

if he goes to free agency i would love for the isles to get him.

in the end it wouldnt make sense due to poulin being awesome because down the road poulin will need the starts and bryzgalov would be the number one guy for years

I thought Vokoun was a free agent this year? He is easily a top 10 goalie.

Vokoun is offended.

Hard to say. There are teams that need goalies and both Bryz and Vokoun are available. Though I think teams like Boston and Washington may look to move one as well. Maybe the Kings move Bernier to Colorado at the draft too, further shrinking the market.

I think he would deserves a solid 5+ million on a contender who needs a goalie, like Chicago, but really who knows.

I think he's worth from 4-5, but I wouldn't be suprised if some team comes at him hard for 5.5+, the guy's amazing,a top 10 goalie who can steal you a game.

Would love for Burke to go after him.

Phoenix has ownership problem and will not have enough cap to sign him.
