Lightning @ Canadiens - 03/17/11

« Et en plus, on affronte Carey Price. Vous pourriez mettre un mur de brique et ça ferait la même chose. On ne peut donc se permettre d’accorder trois ou quatre buts. » - Guy Boucher

And besides, we play against Carey Price. You could put a brick wall and it would do the same thing. We can't afford to give three or four goals.

Nice comment.

Our MVP, needs to put up another solid performance with AHLers.

However, Dawes knows this is his shot and he should be flying out there.

Boucher was around when we mastered the art of jinx and counter-jinx. Smart guy.

Eh, with a decimated line-up I understand we need Price. But we have to give the guy a few games off. Knowing it's going to be tough in the playoffs. I'd rather he feel more relaxed, all these games with all the worked he has to put in, it's going to tire him down. At least, I hope I'm wrong.

Anyways, last game vs caps was unusual, I think we may have a team that will show a solid performance. However Bolts are not going to want this game slide out of their hand after the last game we had. Going to be a difficult game.

3-2 OT Habs
GO HABS GO!

Last year it was all Halak, this year it's all Price, I mean, is our team as a whole ever going to get any credit ?

I'm intrigued to see what Palushaj can do.

it irritates me too.

Most people wrote this team off at the beginning of the year. Now, 8 injuries later including a couple season ending injuries, the habs are comfy in 6th spot.

Last year, most people had us beaten by the caps. That was considered a fluke, and then we were supposed to be swept by the pens. That markovless team took it in 7.

At some point, these experts need to chuck their egos out the door and admit that they underestimate this hockey club instead of looking for weak crutches time after time.

Our team is built on Price. Our leading scorer is 10pts under PPG and the ones after him are more than 10 below him.

Our 2nd line centre has 7 goals.

The talent of this team cannot be measured accurately because there is so little of it being displayed in our system - therefore the credit goes where it deserves to go: Carey Price.

As painful as it could be for me to watch, i'm thinking we might go on a skid. Although, if any one team can overcome all these injuries, it's the habs.

It's what I fear most. It will be interesting to watch, but I think some games might look too much like the caps game if we continue with these injuries, and if Pleks isn't back asap.

That's what happens when your best player is a goalie.

Congrats to Mr. 1300. Quite a feat all things considered.

It could be a tough game no doubt with Plekanec and Halpern joining the injured and Gill evidently under the weather. Pull up the boot straps boys and see what you can do. Opportunity knocks for some more players to step up to the plate.

Good luck, Hamr.

This is exactly it
agree with me or disagree with me
Price is the only thing keeping this team from a lotto pick

We lose tonight and we aren't moving up higher than 6th spot, that's for sure.

I'm gonna be offside drunk by the time this one comes on, I don't think I'll be able to watch.
