Alrighty. We'll give it a try.

Nash – MacKenzie – Voracek
Calvert – Vermette – Umberger
Dorsett – Pahlsson – Upshall
Moreau – Wilson – Boll
*Derick Brassard will be a game-time decision, per the Dispatch

Tyutin-Rivet
Russell-Clitsome
Hejda-Methot

Mason
Garon

Healthy Scratches- Clark, Lepisto
Injuries- Murray, Huselius, Brassard (could play)

Cheap Shot Artist David Backes-McDonald-D'Agostini
Porter-Berglund-Stewart
Steen-Oshie-Hensick
Reaves-Cracknell-Janssen

Jackman-Pietrangelo
Cole-Shattenkirk
Colaiacovo-Nikitin

Halak
Conklin

...this GDT format isn't as fun.

lol, nice. The big thing I see missing is formatting and a picture of the Arena. Other then that, I'm not missing the random theme picture. Others mileage may vary.

On another note, a game without expectations in March (for me, at least). Not really looking for meaningless hockey, sadly. I'll start to notice again if we roll off 5 or 6 straight wins.

Jackets find a way to lose. I said the last game they would win, so maybe this will help....

Only reason to watch this game is because the two teams hate each other right now. Hate to be a downer but hoping for a loss playoffs are toast.

Forget that. Fight to the death. Shut the Blues out 14-0 in regulation.

Every point, every game matters this one included.

Just general FYI -

Those actively and openly hoping for losses because it's best now to improve the team's draft position... don't let us catch you celebrating a win.

Not trying to stir the pot. Of course I want us to win but we really need for the blues to gain points and us not to lol. I know it doesnt make sense I will watch the game and enjoy if we win but will be just as happy if we loose.

Honestly do you guys think the playoffs are still obtainable. Don't give cheerleader answers either. You still think give our position and points back we have a shot?

A shot? Yes. A good shot? No.

Didn't say you were trying to stir the pot and it doesn't have anything to do necessarily with the playoffs. I said if someone wants the team to lose then want them to lose - stand behind it. If losing is good, then it stands that winning is bad and should not be celebrated.

Lets go Jackets!!! Im sick of the draft talk, it's still the regular season and if there are points to be had, lets try our best to get them! If we only have a 6% shot at the playoffs, hey it's still a shot!

I am not even worried about the playoffs just want to see us playing good hockey to finish the year. To be realistic even if we did make it, its not like we would go far anyway. So I am just looking for setting a good pace for next season.

Absolutely. This team cannot afford to slip into a losing mentality, even for a brief period.

Whether there's a shot or not, it's taken so much to get to a winning mind set that we don't want to deviate from that now. Keep trying to win (by as much as possible) every night. This group needs to NEVER think winning is bad.

Please win and screw up the draft position. This team can't draft any way or so I have been lead to think after reading this board for the past couple of years.

I am so glad I will miss most of this GDT since I will be at the game.

I was given free lower bowl tickets and parking for tonight's game.

The benefits of losing and having season ticket holders getting rid of tix.

First thing I thought of

I for one don't like this trend. Expect every last GDT that's left this year to be made by me at 12:01 EST.... with increasingly stupid and unrelated themes.

I guess I really want upshall to resign and I only think he will if he has fun playing here. So there is one reason to win.

Win, or lose, don't really care. It's all about next year.

I agree, DSL.

I, for one, don't want us to "tank" or lose any games. We have some excellent prospects in the pipeline, and adding any prospect at the draft will be a big help. Plus, there's very little chance we get into the "big 4" anyhow, and from about 5-15 there's not any huge standouts that are going to make or break our franchise.

It's time to start a winning tradition with the CBJ - even if it is too little, too late.

Go Jackets.

We can't do much to improve our draft position. It is a weak draft and too many teams are beneath us. The ships have been burned, there is no choice but to move forward and attempt to win.

I don't classify a 0-3-2 stretch in a playoff run much of a winning attitude, but to each their own I guess.

So you have a problem with my posts whether they're positive or negative. Noted.

My point is, this team's psyche has been so fragile in the past that I think losing 'on purpose' would do far more harm than good.

Even if they suck, they should never stop trying to win.

But if people really want us to tank, even with our fantastic draft lottery history, that's up to them.
