I think they got the best of us in the first, but in the second I thought we outplayed them. We got chances, we got two big goals there. Then the way we kind of shut them down defensively in the third period, you could kind of tell it was tough for them to get through the neutral zone. We really made it tough on them to get into the offensive zone and get set up and get opportunities in the third period. It was a great team win. We have to keep it going here. Just because we won, we have no breathing room at all. We’ve got to keep on it. We’ve got to keep pushing here, to make sure we’re in that top eight at the end of the year."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

As long as Bernier isn't in net and Doughty can remember how to play and the refs don't bend us over and Murray can first find the yellow brick road second find the wizard and third ask him for a heart and a brain so that he can actually show one of these emotions that he keeps referring to oh and then Brown can start producing AND being an actual Captain and of course lets not forget Kopitar actually learning how to play or score or whatever else has been being said about him because I really don't read any of those threads and then JJ should learn how and when to step up into the play and how to pass etc and lets not forget our PP sucking dirtbutton, and how it needs to start working at a pee wee level at least and then those other players and or things that we don't like all change.

Then, I'd like our chances against that team.

Then, I'd give us a shot.

Tonell,
The Big Wet: I live in a town called Dayboro situated 45 minutes in the hinterland from Brisbane which is the capital of Queensland. Brisbane and Toowoomba saw the most television coverage on the news. Dayboro recieved 500 mm of rainfall during 4 hours of the most intense part of the storm. This caused the two creeks 500 metres away and in the center of town to rise close too 3 metres in 4 hours. The buisness area of the town (population 1000) was all under. People were being rescued by fishing boats, and larger machinery. No deaths were recorded in my town but many in neighbouring towns. My own house is up a hill from the creek. I cant normally see the creek but during the floods I could see it running from my back verandah. The water was running so fast that it was building up at my front door. I hopped in my gumboots and dug a huge trench along the front of my house which helped the water go around the corner of my house and go down the hiyll. I rescued my chickens, guinea pigs and cats which had all turned full retard in the lightning and made a pen on my back verandah for them to fret in safety. The water recieded just as quick as it rose in Dayboro leave me with a huge mess from debri and my trench from which I had struck multiple holes in a downpipe that was running along the front of my house, not visibile in the water. Many people lost their houses, livestock, cars, sheds and unfortunatly loved ones. I was lucky.
To keep this on topic I will say something about the bluejackets. They suck and I hope they get destroyed tomorrow. Go Kings Go!!!

If the CBJ play the way they've played over the last 4 games, you guys have nothing to worry about. The last 6 games should have been considered "must win" games. The team went 0-3-3 in those, giving away 3 goal leads in at least 2 of them.

The CBJ basically has no room for error at this point, I don't think they have it in them to run the table. We shall see.

Brassard is iffy for this one. He played Wednesday, but dropped in front of a shot going for a block and took a puck off his ankle/foot. Apparently, it swelled a lot.

If he is out, the lines will need to be shuffled (again). My guess with no Brassard:

Nash - Vermette/MacKenzie - Voracek
Calvert - Vermette/MacKenzie - Umberger
Upshall - Pahlsson - Dorsett
Moreau - Wilson - Boll

For the d-men, I don't know who sits. Lepisto played in a couple of games, Rivet played versus St. Louis. I don't think we've had a game where both of them have played yet.

Mason and Garon have both looked like crap over the past 4 games - not sure who gets the start, most likely Mason.

Anyone know if this game is going to be available on NHL Gamecenter since it's being tape delayed on FSN?

Depth forward Kyle Wilson just got sent back down to Springfield, so it now appears that Derick Brassard's likelihood of centering the top line tonight has increased quite a bit.

Love the Bingo Board. Bonus points if you include a few guaranteed King-isms bound to be spoken by your PBP guy:

"Stoll with the shot... high and wide"
"Brown... turns the puck over"
"Kings gain the red line... and dump the puck"
"Kings on the cycle... again..."
"Handzus... trailing on the play"

Wstgarth in, Richardson out.

Quote:
As expected, Kevin Westgarth will go into the Kings’ lineup tonight, in place of Brad Richardson, in a fourth-line right-wing role alongside Kyle Clifford and Trevor Lewis. Terry Murray had praise for Richardson’s effort against Detroit but said he felt Westgarth’s presence was needed tonight
