Not much to choose from really...

1. Helm (although he seemed to disappear as it wore on)
2. Filppula
3. Kindl

I thought Wings showed some progress. Quick outplayed Howard from the start and Kings played pretty well.

Too bad Wings aren't as good as they think. It would have been so much easier if that 'ON' button worked.

are you kidding? Filppula? what the hell has he done this game? He couldn't execute any plays for last 20 games or so and I was even thinking whether we should trade him.

Well let's have a look shall we? He was robbed, and he set up Kronwall who was robbed. So he created two prime scoring chances, and he wasn't a minus, so who else was more worthy in your opinion?

I only saw the third and the last 2 min of the second, but from that I couldn't pick out a single guy who deserved a star. Boring ass hockey. No one could complete a damn pass to save their lives.

he did set up nice chances but you forgot to mention other 75% of the time whatever he tried to do, didnt work or puck turned over. Which seems to be a theme for him thesedays.

my pick is helm, Z and Salei or Draper. yes I really had to dig deep to make those pick.

it's because he's always alone. fil carries the puck into the o-zone, tries to find a teammate and no one is there. hudler is too slow, franzen/bertuzzi hide somewhere else. i feel bad for filppula. he's really not playing bad, but no one wants to play with him.

Yes I noticed it's usually him against 2-3 defenders... was wondering what the all other Wings players were doing.

However, whether it's his linemates or strategy, you gotta admit he's been a non factor player for quite a while now.

How is Franzen even on this list?

Helm
Zetterberg
...and...oh ****, I don't know...Lidstrom

I would have gone with Salei or maybe...pfff, no one. They were all ****.

oh absolutely, but it's because fil is a puckmover. his strength is defense and carrying the puck thru the mid zone. but in order to be effetive, he needs someone who can turn his passes into a goal. and we don't have such a guy at the moment. franzen was always the kind of sniper fil needed. and it worked fine early in the season. but when franzen disappeared, fil was becoming a non factor although i think he is at least not doing any harm. he's still playing on both sides and gives his best.

So Hudler on his line isn't a good thing?

Hudler can shoot and pass. It's been proven. I can imagine HD and whomever coming in to disagree, but whatever. Flip and Hudler work well together, that's a fact.

The problem is ego. Bert, Franzen, and Babcock's unwillingness to put Holmstrom on a lower line for more than a couple of games.

Helm
Draper
Lidstrom

Kindl also continues to outplay Ericsson.

Really would like to see Franzen ride the pine for a game, not like he contributes anyway.

It seemed like Ericsson didn't make a single clean play with the puck in this game. He was always either passing to nobody, trying cute little flip passes right into forecheckers' sticks, or doing some other nonsense that resulted in an LA scoring chance. Bad night all around.

I said a few games ago I'd like to see him sit in favour of Kindl(in a healthy line up) and got crap thrown my way. You're right though, Ericsson makes so many bad passes up the middle and does nothing with the puck.

I also said(earlier in the season? that Franzen isn't an impact player and he doesn't do enough, and got crap thrown my way too.

Quick, Brown, and Kopitar. No Wings player deserves to be voted for in this game at all, despicable.

Ericsson has been bad passed few games and I think he should sit when Rafalski gets back not Kindl or Salei.

Helm disappeared? He was playing on lines with Hudler and Filppula and then Franzen and Bertuzzi. And while on those lines he was the one player mostly seen.

And Filppula, I didn't notice him much last night
