With the trade for Penner and signing of Johnson and Williams to solid deals, I would expect a happier breakfast.

I wish they would stream this like the fans fest question session.

I would ask DL who if anyone from Manchester does he like as a call up when they become available or if he has any plans on giving anyone else a cup of tea before the end of the year.

Don't teams only get 3 non-emergency call ups for the rest of the year? I wouldn't expect anyone called up unless there are couple of injuries.

I was talking for the most part about call ups for the play off roster first and then if there was anyone down on the farm that they wanted to get one last look at this season.

At this point, I think Manchester has a better chance at a deep playoff run than the Kings. Leave both teams alone at this point.

I would love to see Voynov given some games to spell Martinez and five him a taste of the intense NHL action, but Murray would want Voynov to play "heavier" and then Voynov will leave for the KHL.

Back to the breakfast, who's going tomorrow?

I agree, that is what I meant by when they come available. The Monarchs look set to make real run at the whole enchilada and should be for the most part left alone to do their work.

That said I am curious to see if there is anyone (or even two) players down on the farm that he might not want to get a quick look at before the end of the season.

Depending on how the rest of the season goes I could see him calling up one or two kids in a couple of weeks to give a rest to a couple of our vets and throw the kids a bone. It happens all the time and I am curious if DL is thinking the same way and if so who those players might be.

Its also more of a probing question asking who DL likes to be called up to the playoff roster ahead of time as well.

If we are clearly in a playoff spot there is going to be a couple of tuff decisions for DL to make in my opinion when it comes to making the Kings deeper and better prepared for our cup run without ruining Manchesters shot.

I've been a King fan for a long time and I don't remember any one topic concerning anything Kings related where all the fans are in agreement:the PP sucks. I don't mind the offensive philosophy, the Kings are trying to play like the Buffalo Sabres used to and for the most part it's working. However, the inability to change based on what the other team is doing is shocking to me. The Kings have one set play 5 on 5 and one set play 5 on 4. If that doesn't work there is absolutely no backup plan. I've never seen this sort of behavior out of any coaching staff in any sport I've ever watched. 1 freaking play!

The problem with Kompon is he doesn't report to Lombardi, he reports to Murray. Will Murray be at that dinner? If he is, that would be the first question I ask, directed to Murray. If you ask Lombardi, he will just tell you that that is Murray's department and that he just gets the players on the roster that would be successful in powerplay situations.

Yup. Doesn't matter where you stand on Murray, Lombardi, the style of play, Jack Johnson, who should be the goalie, pro or anti-fighting, is Stoll a 2nd line center or any of the other disagreements we have on this board I have yet to find anyone who likes Kompon or the job he is doing.

Barrack Obama isn't the great uniter....Jamie Kompon is.

I'd suggest letting the players go to the center of the ice in the offensive zone! I know that's a wacky and strange concept but that's where most of the goals come in hockey.

Hmmm the Great What??????

Being as Squidly is not around to be the great dissenter I quess I can qualify for this at least in this time... I don't mind Kompoms as much as you ladds do! Its TM gets me riled up beyond all recognition. His lack of allowing chemistry on this team is appalling and just speaks how well adjusted our guys are to deal with his inaine line changing... Not just game by game or period by period but moment to moment!

How can any of his assistants be held accountable for that! There is no coheision and never will be unless he gets clued in... And as this is his modeste' Oper Rand Die... I doubt he is ever getting clued in! So I disagree Jaimie is the problem to a great extent! As for Burr Rackem up Ali Oh Bama... The Dark Jesus, are you saying we have not be delivered and served up like Thanksgiving Turkey yet?

Some quotes from Mayors Manor on Facebook:

Quote:
Lombardi - u need really skilled players to become unpredictable on the power play....we're a little short there.
Quote:
Lombardi "We have to get a better product so we never have that many Vancouver people in our building again!"
Quote:
regarding last nights game...#LAKings GM Lombardi says if there was a mic next to him last night, it might have been a $100k fine game
Quote:
After Hextall finished Lombardi adds 'there was a lot of fine-worthy stuff last night'

Quote:
‎...says team is short on skill (i.e. compared to Vancouver) and if Doughty had played the first half like he has lately, its different story
Quote:
YES - Lombardi promises a chart before meeting is over. Love his spreadsheets! Although he says people won't like this one. #interesting
Quote:
Regarding Hextall saying there is too much diving and faking in league, Lombardi says Simmonds and Clifford are 2 of the most honest players

Dean is a funny guy. I'd rather have him fly off the handle less and address the real issues, like why our PP is so atrocious and our system pre-lockout, but I guess one can't sound as witty when talking about issues that are truly important.

Actually, I think that there's plenty of skill, but creativity seems to be discouraged.
