Now if Arnott can get Semin to reduce his offensive zone penalties by say ... 40-50% I'd be a happy camper.

Side note .... think I should change my handle to just "442" ??

Just cause it's not your thread doesn't mean you can't project who scores and what the score will be.

really guys? just because someone other than 442 starts a game day thread the caps are doomed? get over yourselves. i'm sure bruce isn't going to go into the room tonight and say "well guys, game day thread was started by someone else, so might as well pack it in...." give your heads a shake and just talk about the game. the guy puts together a decent game day thread and all you can think about is your superstitions...relax

If you look at the announcement at the top...this GDT might not even be accessible past the first period or so.

The most notable thing about Semin's play lately has been his physicality. He's finishing checks a lot more often than I can ever recall.

He's very very talented, but for me, I just don't know if guys took the time enough to talk to him enough and make him feel a part of everything, and also get on him when he does things wrong. I think he needs the corrections and a little more discipline in his game, and he needs to know how important he is to this team to win. So it's just little things. I've been talking to him every day, and communication between linemates, it just helps a lot."

I mean really? This guy is fantastic, nobody on the team prior to the TDL would have the ... dare I say balls to speak up. Loving this acquisition more and more by the day.
<3 Arnott.

You're telling us to relax? It's all in good fun my man. I can't honestly think someone would get offended by some of these jabs.

We should pick a totally random message board and just all show up there at 8pm. Like "Antique Hairpin Collectors Emporium" or something. Confuse the hell out of them.

Also, Arnott called the whole team out after game one and that was a win. He has made it clear the whole team will be held to a higher standard. I think he's the first guy since Feds who could really coach Semin.
no doubt semin may need guidence but you dont say it out loud it may piss semin off

Yes, he's playing like he knows he has a 36 year old, Cup winning vetern to watch his back. What a difference Arnott has made in such a short amount of time. Almost like he is picking up where Federov left off.

enjoy it while it lasts man, soon as you lose its back to whatever superstitious thing worked before. Never underestimate how superstitious this board can be lol. Poor choice of avatar theme or GDT will decimate the caps chances to win

anyhow sticking with whats works is never a bad plan tho lol. caps win 3-0!

www.***********/r/caps is a pretty good site. I'm pretty sure I've seen people from here over there. /hockey is good too. I'll start a GDT thread at /caps now, for when the site goes down so we can chat it up. Of course just a temporary substitute.
