Justin Williams

what are the thoughts of trying to get Justin Williams back? He is a RFA. he's young, and i feel the future looks bright for him.

Carolina would most likely match anything we try and sign him for, unless we grossly over pay

The Hurricanes would match any decent offer and for them NOT to match the offer would cost us at least two first rounders - so the answer is no dice on Willy although I would love to have him.

I have a silly trade proposal Radovan Somik, Branko Radivojevic & 2nd round draft pick for Justin Williams. Sometimes you have to pay little more for what you want.

Radivojevic has been dubbed the new Williams but Carolina does that do that deal. Somik is not worth that much anyway.

Getting Williams back would be great, he'd put some scoring depth back on the right side...Maybe they'll take Brashear and a bag of pucks!

I wouldn't trade Somik and Radivojevic for Williams even thought I would love to.... but i do so agree with Cletus to trade Brashear and a bag of puck.....

Williams is still a better player than Radivojevic and has a better upside. Somik hasn't proved to be more than a spare part by now.
