Once I get home ill post pictures of my gagne from 2 yrs ago that was customized by the NHL.com fools. For one the numbers on the sleeves are almost to the black cuffs they do not over lap at all. The name and numbers are jot stitched the font is not only wrong but is smaller

The schenn I got a premiere blank off of NHL.com and took it to flyers sz in voorhees

Lol dude I have no clue what you're asking. All I was saying was that looking at the pictures of the Schenn it appeared to be a premier based on the material. Then I was saying that authentics in the orange/new whites were very hard to find. I wasn't saying anything about the material being bad, just different.

Does anyone think Couturier will keep #14 or is that just an assigned training camp/rookie number?

He'll keep it. #7 is retired.

As an aside does anyone know why he went with #14, or was it assigned? Definitely thinking about Couturier as my next jersey so any and all info appreciated....I don't want to get #14 and a year from now have him/the Flyers change it.

7x2=14. Only reason I can come up with.

Hey guys I just signed up to post this. I got a customized jersey from shop.nhl.com. The numbers are more "plasticy" and are not stitched. Is it possible to send it to the Skate Zone and have new ones added, or is it just going to ruin the jersey?

Thanks a ton

Guessing you bought a premier jersey? I bought some before realizing they were ****.

I honestly don't know if it is possible to take those glued on numbers off

Seems like a logical reasoning.

17 is taken by Simmonds.
77 is a defenseman's number and last worn by the legend Ryan Parent

Bobby Ryan chose 54 for the Olympics cause Zach Parise already wore 9 and 5+4=9

There's a math lesson for the day

I didn't even consider them get taken off, but new ones overtop. I doubt it'd look good/be able to be done, but I am happy with it none the less.

Unless they suddenly change their policy, I know for a fact that Voorhees Skate Zone has told me that they will not remove Heat Pressed items... I had a name plate placed over a Heat Pressed one, and they did a great job... BUT, name plates and numbers are two different things. There is no way I can see how numbers can be place over other numbers... Granted, the on-ice numbers are most likely larger than the single-ply ones you most likely have -- and even the multi-layered ones heat pressed on are smaller -- but with the way the ends of the numbers extend out, I would imagine hey would extend outside the new numbers, somewhere up it. Could you replace a number with a DIFFERENT number that would cover? Maybe, but I seriously doubt it.

My guess is you will have to live with what you have and just chalk it up to experience like many of the rest of us have.

It is, get some goof-off or acetone. Turn jersey inside out, and dab at the back of the numbers, eventually it should break down the glue, and peal back the numbers slowly.

I wanted to post these because its honestly pretty sad and to pay only 10 dollars more Skatezone charges 65 nhl.com charges 55, it's nice to see legitimate differences in quality.

The Jersey underneath is a Gagne I bought about 2 or 3 years ago. Regular Premier with Gagne Customization. Both Large.

So the Schenn one is not the crappy one, right?

How much does Philly Express charge to customize a home jersey?

The Skate Zone, who sends it to PE, charges $70 if you bring the jersey in and I believe only $60 if you buy the jersey there.

Hmmm... I guess that can be the answer to the $70.00 Vs $60.00 cost debate a short while back... I bought mine elsewhere.

Has to do with clothing tax most likely.
