Koivu and Clutterbuck both confirmed as being out.

Theodore starting. Career .843 SV% @ AAC.

I don't presume to know more than the coach, but I also disagree on the roster decisions for tonight (Lehtonen start and Fistric scratch).

Per Andrew (or Stepneski... I never bothered to learn why it is "Andrew's" Stars Page), he's scratching Sutherby with one more forward scratch undecided. With Clutterbuck out and Minnesota being a mild-mannered team, the Stars don't need Barch. It's not rocket science. Or is it? Hmmmm.

Raycroft should really be in nets tonight.

Barch can't fight anyway because of the shield he's wearing to protect his orbital bone fracture. Clutterbuck wouldn't fight him in the first place.

It's his son's name I do believe. At least that's what I always assumed.

Clearly it has to be if Barch continues to find ice time.

piqued -Isn't the slogan actually "March to the Playoffs?" I think someone just photoshopped it because of all the drama.

Also, Fistric is a big hitter not great positionally. I don't mind him or Woywitka scratched, honestly. Basically a toss up.

Go to the Stars website. Unless someone hacked DS.com just to put that up there, it's March to is the Playoffs.

Huh. I'm with piqued then. I thought that was someone's photoshop on a boring but typical marketing phrase.

Luddy told me they're just trying to see if Kari will be able to handle the playoff load. So don't be surprised to seem him in for just about all of the remaining games.

Maybe Raycroft will get the start in Colorado.

Just would love to see a repeat of the game earlier in the year.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

"Let's prepare him for the playoffs by wearing him out." And what if the answer is that he can't handle the load? We just give up? Start Raycroft and get swept?

Where's that stat about the amount of regular season games Cup-winning goalies have played? It's not a lot.

And if he can't? Then what? Raycroft for the playoffs?

Seems pointless to test. All you're doing is setting him up to fail. And if he does, you're SoL. Doesn't it make more sense to make sure he CAN play the playoff load by being rested somewhat?

Just seems like an excuse for Craw to ride his #1.

Crawford is coaching for his job. Just like Tippett was when he rode Turco into the ground. The end result is poor team performance.

I love how he's saying that literally a day or two after coming out and saying they probably rode Richards too hard before he got hurt, and that was why he was looking a bit sluggish before the injury.

*rolls eyes*

But I think they'll win tonight anyway because they're back to the sweetheart scheduling they enjoyed earlier in the season. The Wild ought to be just dead tired.

Dead tired from what?

They didn't even show up in their last game. They should be prepped and ready to go!

This Woywitka situation is starting to annoy me more than Barch ever did. If Barch dressed you knew he was only going to get a pittance of icetime. Meanwhile Woywitka will be out there ****ing up for 18 minutes.

Well I don't agree with it, just passing on the info haha. I think Kari is mentally tough enough to get it done though, he's a warrior for sure.
