I think our first 3 lines will be
1. Kovalchuk-Anisimov-Kulemin
2. Mozyakin-Grigorenko-Radulov
3. Zaripov-Zinoviev-Morozov
Don't know about 4 line, D-men and goalies.

Are those all confirmed, or just available players you hope will play?

Mozyakin is not in the training camp (i dont know the reason), so he will miss the championship this year.

Bryzgalov will only come as # 1 Goalie, but Bykov can't give him the guarantee (they had a phone call last friday).
Nabokov has now "the okay" from the New York Islanders, so he can play too. Now we have to wait what happens.

@Grabovski - believe me, this will be the team

I trust Bryzgalov at this point MUCH more then Nabby. I hope it's him.

As a matter of fact, my #2 choice is Barulin.

Hopefully Nabokov doesnt go.... he is not in form atm....didnt like his play last matches for national team....too rusty....Bykov is gonna F* it up like in Olympics where Varlamov or Bryz should have played agains Canadiens
and Bryz obviously will be main goalkeeeper...maybe matches against weaker teams will be replaced, or have it 50/50 with Barulin or whoever else goes....wtf is to him to be main goalkeeper..has an ego growing for last years, will have at least 3-4 games played in Slovakia or he needs 'main goalkeeper' written on his helmet ?
startin not to like it already...

Sport-Express says Anisimov is a big question. Player himself isn't eager to play because he's in bad shape right now.

Really not sure what is going on with Bryzgalov. A #1 goalie guarantee? Not going to Winnipeg? Not that they care because they would not sign him for the money he wants. He might get a little surprise as he rides the goalie carousel.

The Russian net is definitely a spot to watch this tourney.

Bad for Russia, good for him.

for the 2nd year in a row, he had his best run at the begining of the season, and lost influence through the season. that indicates, he needs more strength, and work on his stamina as well.

So this will increase the chances of Grigorenko or Burmistrov to make the team?

duga, I hope that Burmistrov will play well

Breaking News: Bryzgalov will not play at the WС

FHR President Vladislav Tretiak said the coaching staff of the Russian team and the FHR has already decided the goalkeeper, who will perform at the World Championships in Slovakia.

- A final decision has been made - said Tretiak. - But we have agreed with the national team coaching staff, which will announce it officially at a press conference in Novogorsk.

Two bears in one den do not get along! - Tretiak added, referring to the goalie Ilya Bryzgalov and Evgeni Nabokov.

That means Nabby will be #1.

We better play great defense in front of him.

Not too far from my prediction on March 14th . 3 off. Mozyakin is a bit of a surprise to a lot of people, since he had a really good play-off run- for the first time ever.

Very happy to see Tarasenko and Burmi. Bykov said that Kuznetsov-Burmi-Tarasenko will be the youngster line with high hopes for Olympics. Too bad Kuznetsov's injured.

F: Kovalchuk, Morozov, Zaripov, Tereschenko, Afinogenov, Artyukhin, Gorovikov, Kulemin, Radulov, Zinovyev, Tarasenko, Kaigorodov, Burmistrov
My guess at the lines would be:

Kovalchuk - Gorovikov - Afinogenov
Zaripov - Tereschenko - Morozov
Radulov - Zinovyev - Kulemin
Artyukhin - Kaigorodov - Tarasenko
Burmistrov

I think I have the Winger combination about accurate. Centers are about equal and could be in any combination. I'm pretty sure Burmi will be the extra guy. Bykov might reunite ZZM, but Tereschenko has just as much chemistry with them as Zinovyev at this point. I'm against putting Artyukhin on the roster. If he spends too much time in the penalty box, we could be in trouble with our penalty kill. I hope he plays disciplined hockey.

Nikulin - Korneyev
Tyutin - Grebeshkov
Atyushov - Kulikov
Emelin - Kalinin
Belov

Nikulin and Korneyev spend the end of the season playing together, so I'm assuming that will remain. The rest, I'm not sure.

Nabokov
Barulin
Koshechkin

Barulin is my favorite among these 3. But it could very well be that he will be the #3.

Damn looks like Bykov really wanted Nabokov in the team, even if he plays shyt, so pissed he made the team, same goes for Artyukin....the 2 guys who gonna f* it up- just watch.
Happy Burmistrov and Tarasenko made the team.

strange I. Grigorenko didnt make the team, esp he plays for Salavat, and Bykov tends to bring more of his guys even if theres better ones available.

I'd rather see some new blood instead of the perennial ZZM line, but that's a minor concern. I hope Barulin will get some games.

lol Artyukhin the goon... He is on the team probably specifically to scare Finland.
Nice to see Barulin get rewarded for his solid playoff run.
