Okay so we had a good second half of the 2nd period. So that means we'll come out in the third, blow the lead and lose.

For dire wolf -- Sabres getting wrecked at the dot, 13 wins, 29 losses. McCormick's win on the PP was one of three he's beaten Boyce in the Toronto zone though -- definitely a leg up on him in a small sample size and as a team, they've beaten him 4 of 6 in the Leafs zone.

32 SOGs so far. Leafs only have 19. Weird, seemed like Leafs had tons of chances.

Steve Mason standing on his head for the good of the Eastern Conference. CBJ has killed 3 5 on 3's, and now the Canes just got their 7th PP.

Someone posted on the main board how Carolina has been in the top 4 (and 1st several times) in the NHL in power play opportunities for every year since the lockout. Luckercanes indeed.

Clearly all the whistles have been sent to Carolina tonight...

Myers-Sekera back to start the third. Myers with four hits and three blocked shots through two periods, tops on the team in both categories.

Too cute in the offensive zone from Vanek and Pommers there.

Haha apparently so. Just from watching that game when we are in intermission frustrated me so much. Luckercanes in full force today, yet thankfully they can't capitalize on many point blank chances. And as I type this, its 2-1 CBJ now

Yeah, as I was watching that, I kept asking myself, "Wait, are you sure that says number 8?" Maybe he's next years Byfuglien.

You could see that coming a mile away. Sekera needs to get that puck out when he had a chance.

Didn't particularly like Miller on that goal, it's a tough save, but he was there.

This is what happens when a team doesn't knock anyone down in the defensive zone.

Maybe if our top forwards would stop making ***** drop passes, and just drive the net, Toronto wouldn't have scored that third goal.

Sabres are gonna try and be cute and make high risk plays, Leafs are gonna win.

Vanek and Pominville not playing like they need to. We really need Roy and Stafford to be playing.,.

That goal is on the forwards losing position more than the D. The D rotated sides, but they had their men. Boyes was all crossed up -- not surprising after being moved from center to wing again.
