GDT pretty much confirms Enroth will be getting the start tonight.

I wouldn't be surprised, he won there once this year.

since we normally lose when the majority in here predicts a win (and vice versa) i can see a big fat lose coming. It's also a game the Leafs have to win if they want to make the playoffs ...

5-1 Leafs

The TBN article this morning is making it sound like Gaustad, Stafford, and Kaleta are definitely out and Butler is probably out. I dunno, having Mancari and Parrish in seems like fail to me.

How do you keep a buffalo penned in your backyard?

The Maple Leafs haven’t done a good job of that at the Air Canada Centre, where the Buffalo Sabres are 7-1-1 since February of 2008
Quote:
A win in regulation and the Sabres are eight points up on the Leafs, with a game in hand and Toronto down to 13 dates. Coach Lindy Ruff will also have taken another step back to the playoffs and confounded his critics one more time, just when they thought his 14th season with the Sabres would surely be his last. Toronto hoped to make big strides while the Sabres were on the road, but the opposite has happened the past week.
Quote:
Ten points out of the playoffs early in the new year, the Sabres made hay away from HSBC Arena. But the Leafs did beat them there, back on Feb. 16.

“Now we have to get a gorilla off our back at home,” Wilson said. “We did beat (Sabres goalie Ryan) Miller last time and the key is to go into the game believing and feeling good and being energized. That’s what we need — energy.”
http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Hockey/NHL.../17588191.html

Quote:
The Sabres have a history of handling the Leafs easily, although Ruff is not expecting that pattern to continue considering what is at stake. Nor is he feeling any satisfaction now that the Sabres finally have a grip, albeit a tenuous one, on a playoff spot.

“It’s a tough league right now,” he said. “You can’t look at the schedule and say we’re in for an easy night. I’ll have satisfaction when we get to Game 82. We’ve got work to do.”

What happened to Butler? Or is it just his turn to sit, a la Neids and Gerbe?

New ownership. Pegula opened up the check book for our GD thread. Mkoster is actually Ted Black.

The TO GDT is more minimalistic than ours is.

They saw a weakness and exploited it.

What now?

Quote:
THIS IS MY GDT AND HERE ARE THE LINES:

Kulemin-Grabovski-MacArthur
Lupul-Bozak-Kessel
Crabb-Boyce-Armstrong
Brown-Brent-Rosehill

Phaneuf-Aulie
Schenn-Gunnarson
Lebda-Komisarek

Reimer

btw game # 69
We have ****ing Don Cherry in ours.

Guys stop harassing Ron Barr. With the exception of the Penguins game he has had a good thing going.

Except he's not doing it for reverse karma/luck. I think he really believes we'll lose every game.

Besides, only one person said anything. Well, 2 now...

Are the Buffalo Sabres going to end Leafs Nation's fading playoff hopes and dreams tonight at the Air Canada Centre?

Love it that the Sabres have brought back their retro jersey's as well as a new style jersey that is retro similar. Good job with the jersey's Buffalo!

They key to tonight's game is James "Red Light" Reimer. Reimer goes down in the butterfly on every shot. Teams are now focusing on this and if the Sabres attack hard fireing top shelf and five hole on Leafs Nation's latest hero it could be a disasterous night for the delusional leemings in Leafs Nation.

You guys would be dumb to do that.

Here is Miller's career stats against us:

At the ACC: 11-4-0, 2.25 GAA, .927 Save %, 1 shutout
Overall: 24-9-0, 2.18 GAA, .931 Save %, 2 shutouts

Good luck tonight. Huge game.

As close to a playoff game that the Leafs have had in a while. Sabres have been in playoff mode since December. Should be a great game.

Miller will get the start under the HNIC lights. Jhonas Brother on Sunday.

Lalime has a "knee injury"? LOL... he's already played his last game in a Sabre uniform.

With Carolina losing yesterday, a win will be huge, we need a little gap there and being able to rest Miller down the stretch.

So i expect another win tonight. Connolly will score for a 2nd game in a row, Vanek will get a good game too after going scoreless with a goalie in the last 10 more.

5-2 will be the score

Connolly
Vanek (2)
Pominville
Ennis

Mac
Kessel

Well then I wouldn't be in the least be sad if I heard RJ holler more than once,

"Top shelf, Where Mama hides the cookies"

Hopefully we can send the Leafs on their way to do some

Contrary to popular belief, Toronto is not a joke.

Sabres better bring their "A" game.

Toronto wins, 4 2.

well, the last game against the leafs was a very humbling experience. Myself and a lot of other people were pretty cocky that the Sabres were going to roll the Leafs. Not going to be that cocky again. This will be a tough game tonight. The Leafs are fighting for their playoff lives. Hopefully whoever is in net for the Sabres shuts the door. My guess is 3-1 either way.
