IF that happens then I say Eberle's own theory is correct -- he already had his bad luck and injuries this year.
42 is so powerful it got him before he even had 42 points.

42 popped up again last night:
Jarome Iginla entered yesterday's Flames/Oilers match-up with 39 goals on the season ...and
42 assists .
Iginla scored a hat trick against Edmonton that game... bringing his goal total to:
42
Random sidethought: maybe "42" is actually a good thing. After all, there are 82 games in a season, so the 42nd game of a season is the first game of the 2nd half. So maybe 42, in the context of hockey, represents like... "rebirth". Maybe it means that the "2nd half" is just starting, and so from here on in things are gonna be new, fresh and different, and the Edmonton Oilers will be "reborn", like a phoenix, and return to the Days of Glory, heh... Maybe.
