Duddy's voting before he looks at who his choices are. I'll go with Foligno and add Fienhage.

Didn't think that Isackson would be already on the list, add Sutch

Taking Byron over Foligno here. IMO, Byron has a chance to become a top 6 center whereas Foligno's ceiling is probably that of a NHL 3rd liner (which isn't a bad thing at all).

Add Boychuk.

I have Foligno here as a matter of his progression and the likelihood that he reachs the team in a defined role.

As for the add... Legault my Eggo.

Foligno, add Legault.

Does anyone realize that Legault has 21 points with Portland this year, 12 of which are goals, and 6 fighting majors?
Don't write him off.

...and most of that scoring was after the injury bug hit and he (and others) were called upon to step into bigger roles. It's a good sign for his development.

Do you realize that his ceiling is a 4th-liner and that it is still very unlikely that he reaches it ? And 21 points in Portland is okay, but nothing impressive.

Eh, for a guy to rank out around 19th or so for the prospect list, it's still something to consider.

I'm well aware of that.
Everyone else is adding Boychuk and Sutch; want to let me know what their ceiling is?
Oh yeah, the same as Legault's.
We're down to prospects that have little upside or a low probability of reaching their full potential, so I'm not really seeing what your is point.

Legault has progressed this season nicely IMO and I have him above Boychuk and Sutch for now because he's been able to have an impact at the professional level.
He at least has a bit of scoring touch, which shows he can play the game, and he's stepped up at key times for Portland, showing he has some character.
Let's see if Boychuk becomes anything more than a goon and if he can even play hockey and if Sutch can keep himself from being a healthy scratch in the O before saying they are better than Legault.

Well i don't think Sutch and Boychuk should be in the top-20 either, so much about that . But i sure get that we are getting out of options in the add-section pretty soon, you just made it sound as if Legault should be a lock now and i don't think so. In those regions i will almost always take far away projects over potential 4th liners with a little more likelihood to reach their ceiling.

One thing to consider in the next couple adds... has Persson's early season rediscovery of how to play hockey merit some consideration inside the top 20 now? There were some games were he was very good for Portland, but being hurt not only stiffles that progress by keeping him off the ice, it keeps him out of view.

Boychuk does have 15 goals....and 16 assists...and 31 points.....and is +3.

Not bad for a goon.

Boychuk should be in that mix too. At his size and with the ability to play a harder game, he could be more than "just" a goon type if he continues to improve his game.

They have a number of guys to pull for in that vein -- Legault, Boychuk, Fienhage. Sutch,
