Nuck fan in peace

I'm not sure why other teams seem to hate the twins so much. I get they're on a rival team and all but as a Canuck fan I love Iggy. Anyways just my $0.02

A must win game for the flames, as usual.

Go flames go!

i have no issues with the Sedin's personally I'd love to have them on the Flames... in fact the only Canucks I actually dislike are Burrows, Kesler and Luongo

they are just too easy i guess. brothers, soft (no matter how physical they try to be) twins. its just an easy shot for a rival team to take. kinda like flamers or canuckleheads.

that being said, the respect for the sedins is still there. they are amazing players, and no, saying just cause they play together theyre good. Prven in the past they can play alone too. (that all sounded dirty ) through injuries keeping them apart its obvious now, these guys are for real.

i feel you though, drives me nuts when people are ignorant about iginla too. talk **** fine, but dont be ignorant about it and say hes a bad player.

theres a huge difference between a rivalry and just straight up being a tool. but speaking for the flames fanbase we respect the sedins, just of course gotta talk some trash about em sometimes.

agreed. bieksa is kind of a ****** too.

in all honesty the canucks have had alot of hateable players play for them. i think thats where alot of hate comes from. cooke, ruutuu, burrows before when he was an agitator mostly, kesler, jovanovski, bertuzzi (yes he played for calgary too, but nobody really cared anymore) even luongo is looked at as cocky and douchey with his slicked oily hair and what seems like an arogant attitude. and the sedins are made fun of around the league.

thats why i really dislike the canucks. was never anything agaist the fans, just always really disliked the team. not as much now though i must admit

If you watched them more you would realize they are anything but soft. These guys will go to the dirtiest areas to make a play. And they aren't at all afraid to take a hit to make a play. Not soft.

dont throw the "well if you watched them" line at me. i watch them as much as anyone can without being in their hometown. they are soft players. its fine. they are skill players, and top level skill at that. their physical play is next to non existant. if they didnt go to dirty areas they wouldnt have a job. there arent many players who dont go to dirty areas that have any sort of sucess.

they have tried to look tougher latley, getting into scrums and doing nothing. thats fine though, dont get upset. its not their game

we may also also have different definations of what a "soft" player is.

Anyways, hoping for a great game, and obviously a Canucks win. However, we might be a bit tired after 4 road games with a bit of travel, and it's in the Dome, so it won't be an easy game, that's for sure.

There is an absolute cluster-******* of teams at the bottom of the playoff race, and you guys are the only team out of the 4 that are playing tonight, so you probably need the win more than us. However, we're gonna do our best to make sure that doesn't happen!

Good luck tonight either way.
To me it doesn't matter how many points they have or how many cups, they will always be the two Swedish sisters.

I dislike Vancouver more than any team in the NHL. If they were playing an American team in the SCF, I would be cheering for the American team because I dislike them so much. There is not a particular player on their team that I dislike alot either, I dislike them so much because of their fan base. Although, the Sedins are pretty easy to make fun of. Cornflakes has more personality than those two.

My names for them are the Olson twins. I do respect them alot though, they are probably the most dangerous duo in the NHL.

GO FLAMES GO!!!!

They're not soft. They're definitely not power forwards, but when I think of soft forwards I think of someone like Gaborik who uses his skill and speed and whom you rarely see in the corners or in front of the net taking abuse. Both Sedins take an insane amount of punishment working in the corners, and neither are afraid to go stand in front of the net and get cross checked.

I think it's fair to say they aren't physical players, because you rarely see them try to hit someone, but they are far from soft.

I said this game would either go two ways. It'd be a close, entertaining game or the Flames would blow the Canucks out. You guys just have way more to play for, and the Canucks have four road wins in a row in their pocket already and are looking to go home.
