They back each other up very well. It's been a solid pairing all year long.
Garrison made his fair share of mistakes tonight, but just like he had Weaver's back on Weaver's mistakes, Weaver did the same for Garrison.
This cheap pairing has been the pairing all year long that has played against the opponents top lines.
They're also a big reason why the PK has been top 5 all year.
And Weaver doesn't really have it in him, but Garrison is pretty mobile/I think he can produce some more, offensively.
Exactly why I like these two. Always the best when you have players on the cheap who can play as well as them.
Garrison and Weaver are doing great for a 3rd line shutdown pairing playing as a #1 unit. Considering half our team is AHL level i'm surprised we win at all or even stay in games. Callahan-Wilson are just brutal.
They're an excellent third pair or a solid and reliable second pair which is where they'll probably be on the depth chart. Kulikov is a first pairing guy and hopefully we get a legit free agent to play with him. He's going to be so good.
