- Jerseys. I actually love the colors, but it just seems like bad karma to wear them after the Winter Classic disaster.

Most lifeless team effort in a long time. Did we really only have three hits in the first 20 minutes?

Minus to the whole team in this one.
Okay, I'll give a plus to Johnson for coming in and making a few big saves to keep it 3-0.

+Neal. He looked good. His line looked decent enough as well.
+Johnson stopped all he faced

-Effort was off.
-Staal looks bad. Offensively as usual but also Defensively today.

The lines need re-adjustment. It's not clicking.

IMO Staal,Cooke, and Tk need to be kept together. I'd like to see the following tomorrow: Neal,Letestu,Kovalev,
Kunitz,Jeffrey,Dupuis
Cooke,Staal,Tk
This look reasonable? maybe a little more balanced.

I think Staal just doesn't have hockey brains, that intuitive sense of just knowing where to be, what to do, etc. that the top tier guys have. He's is a great third-line center--nothing more.

I am a Letang fan, but anyone seriously discussing him as a Norris candidtate really needed to watch this game. Just dreadful.

The only plus I can think of is I gave up the tickets for this snoozefest.

+ IMO the 4th line and Neal played well.

- Everyone else... even those who started picking it up in the 3rd period. Why wait until then?

- East/ west against Montreal again? Whats it going to take to understand it doesn't work?

- - Letang gets a double minus from me. I think he completed 2 passes all game and missed the net all game long. He's been really bad lately and he's his own worst enemy.

Hope the Pens bring their skating legs tomorrow because the Oil are fast even without Hall.

I'm a Habs fan, but I come in peace.
I just here to say I hope Staal is okay after that hit on the bench and to give props to Neal for controlling himself by not sticking out his knee when he tried to hit Eller. Class move by Neal.

+ the high stick on staal on the bench. maybe it wakes him up for tomorrows game or at least keeps him from celebrating the parade and doesn't play like he's hungover

I was at the game and man, it was soul crushing.

Letang and Niskanen made or at least it felt like they made a lot of missed passes leading to icing, flubbed passes or sent passes to no man's land. Definitely not a good day for them.

Subban is one dirty dirty guy. It felt like he was initiating a lot of stuff outside the whistles. One time in particular during a stoppage, he was skating toward his bench, shoved Neal for apparently no reason and then hustled off.

In general, it felt like the refs were allowing a lot of stuff go. I still don't understand the scrum in front of Price somehow developing into a Habs PP though.

Pens were attempting a few too many cute passes. They were forcing the pass every time they had numbers.

Staal was miserable. He was highly noticeable for bad passes and a couple of offsides.

-Typical Pens-Habs. Camelleri and Plekanec scoring backbreaking goals, turnovers, Price making unconscious glove-cuff saves, Hal Gill saving goals. Its so frustrating to watch I can't imagine how frustrating it is to play. They have our number what can I say?

+I am going to the game tomorrow; and after today I expect the Pens to unleash a world of hurt on the Oilers.

- Getting really hard to defend Staal any more. He doesn't even look like a good grinder now. He looks slow, can't receive or give a pass, and his shot is terrible.

I'm still trying to figure out how he just loses Plekanec after the faceoff. I've watched the replay 10 times and it's like he purposely went to the wrong spot to piss me off.

You could tell it was going to be a typical Pens afternoon game when they hit the post on their first shot and the Habs score 20 seconds later.
