As bad as Mancari was, Parrish was worse. He's just not an NHL player anymore.
Parrish is 34 and has had a decent career. Mancari is 25, posting huge AHL numbers and hasn't even had a sniff to being a regular NHLer. He should be busting his ass off not float like he's Ovechkin.
I miss Matt Ellis. Or for that matter a viable callup option whose skating doesn't suck. Remember last year when they Ennis and Gerbe? Haven't been impressed with one callup this year.
Forgive me if I don't trust your opinion when you put Hecht, Pominville, and Ruff (huh?) in your bad.
The team stopped skating early in the 3rd and they paid for it.
The Parrish call up + playing McCormick the least out of the forwards. Hecht was more of a "team finishing" type of thing, and I thought Pominville played a quiet game when he really couldn't afford to be a quiet guy.

You're blaming Ruff for call-ups? You realize that's an organizational decision where the GM has the final call, right?
Who am I kidding, of course you do. You just don't care.
He really, really hasn't been that good. Especially when you factor in what he's being paid to do.
So if he is paid way less, then it is understandable when he has an underaverage night?
So Enroth should rarely be good next season, Gerbe should really be terrible. Ennis too right? Fans should give any player a pass if they get paid a low salary? And only hold the high paid players as being perfect or they suck?
Miller had a below average (for him) night. Overall he's had a pretty average season. He will not have a 09-10 season every year, and may never again. Miller isn't even in the top five of what is wrong with this team.
Is this when the newsgroup collectively declares that Miller is fatigued?
Sorry, but don't you know you are not allowed to criticize Miller and his stunning .912 save percentage.
Yet another game where he doesn't make the big saves we need. Another game where he'll come up with excuses. First goal was awful. You can't give up that goal.
The team has bailed him out more than he's bailed out the team.
When was the last time you could say, "Miller stole that game."
Yech.
yeah I don't really see how you can really blame Miller tonight. 4 goals sucks, but none of them were his fault. Maybe the 1st one, but that was a heck of a shot by Macarthur. Full marks to the Leafs they came to play in the 3rd and we didn't.

The first goal was horrible. Paul Hamilton just commented on it in postgame. Top goalies don't let those in.

If it was unscreened, it would have been an awful goal. As it was, it was the most questionable of the 4, even with Myers/the Toronto forward falling in front of it.
But yeah. This is getting rather ridiculous. Toronto simply came out of the dressing room the more desperate team in the 3rd period.
Stole my answer. Then again, I was wondering what the save on the stunningly wide-open Lupul tonight was if not a big save. Eh. Perhaps some are only impressed with perfection.

He stole the Rangers game. Really. Played a good game. Stole it? LOL. Stopped 29 of 31. Solid outing. Not nearly enough of them. Stealing games is what Carey Price does all the time.
