I'm sure it will be about how they're scraping by, or that the defense and goaltending is too weak. Etc, etc. ovechkin not scoring enough, etc, etc. Backstrom out, they're done. You name it.

Holtby continues to shine. Obscene how loaded we are at the goalie position.

That's before you get to the young defensemen.

Then before you get to the young centers.

Then before you even get to the other variety of parts that are kicking around.

Crucify McPhee for not getting them over the hump, I guess, but anyone who says anything about the collection of talent he has assembled just doesn't know squat about hockey.

Yeah. That's true. But they've trailed quite a few.

I love Sharp, but that's pretty poor.

I'm getting worried hearing Milbury complementing the Caps so much.

If I didn't know any better I'd say the Hawks are trying to deflect shots low on Holtby.

Ovechkin active today. Too bad many of them have been fluttering to the net.

I suppose it is great for the Caps to get national attention, but I sure do hate NBC coverage. The NBC crew is the worst ever and I could care less who is in the Hall of Fame.

I tell you what, if you told me 3 seasons ago that Erskine would know which end of the hockey stick was what in the offensive zone, I wouldn't have believed you.
