69 points and he's an MVP?

Yeesh.

I know he's a Canadian boy, but he's not the MVP.

That's before you get to the young defensemen.

Then before you get to the young centers.

Then before you even get to the other variety of parts that are kicking around.

Crucify McPhee for not getting them over the hump, I guess, but anyone who says anything about the collection of talent he has assembled just doesn't know squat about hockey.
Only thing preventing this team from getting over the hump is the coach. Because as you indicated, its all strengths up and down the roster.

Watching Camploi trying to be a tough guy is entertaining. To say the least.

MacGuire's just being MacGuire - a Canadian fluffer.

Red Deer!

manitoba!

I wonder how many Junior teams he mentions. (edit: If I did a shot for each, I'm sure I would be walking to the store for more booze before the 3rd)

He does know this broadcast is to American audiences? They know places like New York.

Do you notice how Bruce and Pierre are like the identical height and have the same hair line? They could be brothers.

I don't blame him so much. He's at his best when he's talking about Jr players, because he has a freakish amount of knowledge about those leagues (and not just CHL). I'd rather hear him talk about that than hear his NHL biases, even if he favors the Caps at times.

caps breakout is pretty consistent.

Pitch it to the blue line near their bench, go cross ice to a guy near the redline, try to get it deep. If that guy is covered, throw it up the right and try to deflect in.

Pierre stands on a box. Joe B taught him that one.

Make sure to mention Crosby, even if he's not anywhere involved in the game.

I think our D are shooting wide a bit too often. When a forward is tight and a risk at a block/breakaway, sure. Otherwise, crank it on goal.
