He does more than most, though.

I'm not a fan of the guy, but he deserves credit for the things he does well. I'm just saying I'd rather hear him crush over prospects or junior players (who don't get much coverage during NHL broadcasts) than crush over Crosby, Toews, Ovechkin, etc. The biases are much less annoying.

I wouldn't be sad to see him go, but he isn't.

Left point should have been Arnott's since the day he arrived here. It should be his until the day he leaves.

He's scored 100 goals just like that.

I also think if you had to way on sources and long term credibility, it isn't even close.

Pierre is what he is, and he's good at his niche, but I don't think the two stack up.

Laich did a good job getting in front of the net distracting Hjalmarsson.

To be clear, there's nobody in this universe saying they do. It's not even a hint of a question.

Surprised by actual analysis by Eddie O, but the Wideman keep was key. (Sorry DVR is behind by a few minutes)

Every time I see the camera on him, his lips are moving, he is winning battles along the boards, or his racking up points.

Or he is waving to the fans

I still stand behind the idea that it doesn't matter how many points Arnott scores, it will pale in comparison to what his leadership and tutelage will bring to this team.

Come now, still have next intermission to rip us.

Plus, if we bow out in the playoffs, he will swear he has seen it all along.

yup--that's the key of the whole thing. anyone/thing that can make semin play to his potential consistently is worth whatever it costs, because when semin's playing like he can, he's a top 5 player in the league.

His knowledge of small Canadian towns is second to none. He's a walking atlas.

I don't know about the 44 to 28 deal.

It's not like Semin has been apathetic all season. He had a stretch when he was legitimately hurt. He had a stretch where the club was poor and he was poor right with them.

He's still circleling just as much right now. If anything, it shows how unfair not giving him a good center for the past 2 seasons has been. Even a last legs 91 was probably a bit rough.

I think it can't hurt, and I do think that Arnott is good for him, but it's not like they're trying to make chicken salad out of chicken turds. He's a good player. He cares.

I'm waiting for the 'John Carlson, former OHL London Knight under Dale Hunter,' Pierre reference.
