Sens Fans: Landeskog or E.Kane?

Alright Sens fans, who would you rather have? Simple question.

Would you rather draft Landeskog in his draft year or Evander Kane?

Just a curious question of mine. Haters, no need to ream the question.

It's really hard to compare a guy playing in the CHL in his draft year to a guy playing in the NHL with one full year more of experience and growth. I'd have to go with Kane though. Every time I watch Atlanta he just blows me away with demonstrations of his tremendous skills and poise. I really like both though. I just see a guy who will be attaining a better potential in Evander.

Considering Kane was drafted in '09, and Landeskog is to be drafted in '11...

I'd take both?

My friend went to high school with Couture, definitely nothing good to say about him. Hell of a hockey player though.

I'd take Kane in a heartbeat and I like Lando a lot.

It's really not surprising to hear that about Couture. Most of these kids have such an ego on them playing in the NHL from 18 or 19 that they really think they're better than everyone else. I went to school with Kadri, friend of mine was with Duchenne who also met Tavares. Subban without saying. All dicks. Comes with being so young and successful you can do what you want.
Skinner, whos from my hometown, is one of the genuine nice young guys that just looks like hes out for fun and loving life.

Oh, Kadri went to the same high school as Couture, my friend knew him too. He was more of a quiet kid but also with the expected ego. But this is all hearsay and I can't actually prove my friend isn't lying haha.

Sorry to drag this off topic but

I have met Subban and lived in the Belleville area when he played for the Bulls.. The organization have nothing but positive to say about the guy.

And from my impression of him (had about an hour's conversation with him) he is a nice guy

What happened to my post? I didn't make anything up. I played soccer against him too, but I didn't know who he was, but I do recall that entire team being full of A's

Its close but Kane. Kane's a better skater, better shooter, he's bigger/more athletic and just overall more dynamic BUT Lando's got a better head for the game IMO, which will make him a better defensive player and maybe better on special teams. In Ottawa's case, I'd like the more dynamic offensive player.

Well Spezza allegedly spent a fair chunk of high school being stuffed into lockers, so that stuff shouldn't really matter from a fan's perspective. Is he a d*** now? Does he treat the fans that way? People shouldn't be judged too harshly on what they were like at 16.

I'd go with Kane....he's got more tool box. Wouldn't count Landeskog out, especially if he ends up in the Swedish frenzy in Ottawa.
