I'm hearing the Koevermans injury could be ACL. Not only would his season be over, but career would be in jeopardy. Coming back from an ACL injury at age 33 in soccer is not easy. I'm hoping that its not ACL.

@soccercanada: Mariner saying that they could have news on a signing tomorrow. No reports on Mellberg or McKenna being in the country so anyone's guess

They already screwed up on Del Piero and Nesta...PLEASE TFC...SIGN AN ITALIAN.

Filippo Inzaghi will be 39. He is NOT what this team needs.

MDV has been a bust for the Impact and some Milan fans say Nesta sucks now. I do not know if they mean for Milan's high standards or that he sucks no matter where he is playing. Frings and Koevermans were quality foreign signings. I wish people would quit crying about us not signing quality big names. They had actually done very well on that front lately. It is the players that surround them that needs to be improved dramatically.

Nesta the Professor played incredible vs Barca, but overall he was poor. If any of these rumored players are going to sign with TFC I'm hoping for Del Piero. He still has it.

Toronto just acquired Eric Hassili from Vancouver for a 1st round pick in 2014. Soccer is the one sport that I am okay with trading a pick. We also gave up an international spot but we have enough Canadians that it should not be a factor.
