Labeda or Rink Rat wheels?

So, I'm in need of new inline wheels and bearings. I don't to pay up the wazoo for them though, so I've decided to go with the Bones Red bearings which I've heard good things about for pretty cheap. Now, I need some wheels. I weigh about 185 so I think I'm going to go with 76A wheels (soft), one step above the 74 (x-soft). Although, my friend said he uses 76 in the front and back, and 74 in the middle, is this a good idea?

Anyways, like I said, I'm not willing to spend $13 a wheel. Looking for more like...$5 to $8 a wheel. Heard that Rink Rat and Labeda are the best ones on the market, but I really just don't know which wheel would be the best bang for my buck.

Thanks!

I'm assuming you're playing on Sport Court?

If that's the case, in my opinion, the two best bang for your buck wheels would be either Revision Variant Bronze 76a or 76a Rink Rat Hot Shots. With coupon codes and sales you can usually get either of those for around $8 per wheel and they're dual pour wheels that perform well on Sport Court.

If you're on smooth cement then a single pour wheel like Yellow Labeda Grippers are probably your best bet.

Yeah it's inline, so sport court.

I've tried various lines from each brand. I won't touch Labedas that are not Addictions, and those are the wheel that sell for $11.99-$13.99. You can get them cheaper from non-retail places if you can find them though (ebay is good for that).

For Rink Rats, I've had great luck w/Hot Shots and Hornets. Hornets/Hornet Splits were the top of the line, though I see they've come out with a newer variety which are supposed to be better yet.

I'm 5'10" and 205, and skate hard and aggressive. I know light people, who skate no differently, have their Addictions chunk and thereby swear by Rink Rat.

FWIW, Labeda Milleniums didn't last well for me, they began splitting very quickly. By contrast, I've used my Hornets and Hot Shots LONG past when I should have been able to, and they continue to roll on as strong as could possibly be! Labeda Fuzions suck, too, IMO.
