Buffalo has lacked the killer instict all season, evidenced most recently by their loss in Toronto. They just haven't been that good at burying teams when they've had the opportunity. For that reason, I smell a 3-2 OTL tonight.

The Sabres are publishing a "Fan Guide" on their website. Really cool stuff:
http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?...id=DL|BUF|home
Features links to a PDF of the GameNight program, schedule, arena info, a scorecard you can use to follow along at home, etc.
NEW:
* Music requests via Twitter (@SabresDotCom, use hashtag #SABRETUNES)
Also, the Sabres are wearing their alternate jerseys for the second game in a row tonight.

Just saw that, too. It's a good read. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it on the website before. It's pretty cool to know which jerseys they're wearing ahead of time. I also like the feature where they show you which songs they'll be playing in warmups--as picked by the players--and some of the songs they'll be playing during stoppages. Love everything about the new feature.

I'm proud to say I'll be at this game, somewhere in the 300 Level. It'll be my first game of the Pegula Era.

The webguide is a nice new feature. Though the "The PK is OK" had me thinking it was a list of who's on the jumbotron tonight....

Greetings from the early stages of the Sabres' morning skate. The warm-up drill featured the following lines:
Thomas Vanek-Brad Boyes-Drew Stafford
Tyler Ennis-Tim Connolly-Jason Pominville
Nathan Gerbe-Paul Gaustad-Mark Mancari
Rob Niedermayer-Cody McCormick-Mike Grier
All seven defensemen are present, as are goalies Ryan Miller and Jhonas Enroth.

Me and Pix were discussing how the PK jumbotron quotient went down ever since you got a ring on your finger.

Sorry to inform you but the first home game of the Pegula era already happened. As did the second, third, and fourth.

A few years ago I was watching a game (don't remember if it was sabres or not) but they cut back from commercials to a crowd shot and the camera man was obviously following an attractive young woman around. It stayed for about 15 seconds of him panning before it cut over to the announcers. I chuckled quite a bit.

I think he meant that it was HIS first Pegula era game in attendance. That's how I read it, anyhow.
Sold our tickets for tonight's game... I want a rally towel. Oh well.

Now, I didn't become a rabid fan untill near the end of the Galisano era, so I'm not sure. But are Rally towels, or anything like that, something that they would've done?

During the playoffs, yes.

Dammit!! I should reconsider this whole marriage thing.
Happy marriage? Or jumbotron action?
It's a tough one....
