Also, re-watching the Caps' 2nd goal vs. Carolina...resisting urge to buy a Hendricks sweater. Losing battle.

I read that Holtby is starting. Is this true?

This game goes to OT and a SO.

Ah yes...coffee and left over king cake from the pre-shamrock festival party. And the Caps at an early Sunday hour...

MaJO skates towards the puck near the boards behind the Hawks goal, when Hawks D-Brian Campbell pushes MaJO in tbe back causing MaJO to lose his balance, toe pick as well as lose his edge and fall awkwardly in to the boards. MaJO is injured and out for a number of games. Referees make no call as it was a "Hockey play", league in ensuing days agrees with referees initial assessment and advise nothing will be done to Campbell. Joel Quenneville and Hawks organization call Caps whiners.

Holtby playing awesome. Hope the trend continues so Neuvy can rest for the playoffs and Varly doesn't get rushed back.

fully expecting team to come out very flat. they always do for day games, and this day game is an hour earlier than most.

It's funny how there seems to be such a double standard when it comes to hits the Caps players make and the perception around the league via the fanbase and how the refs call the games. Green gets elbowed in the head...no penalty...no outcry...barely a discussion. Ovechkin sends Campbell into the boards because he loses an edge and gets thrown out of the game and suspended...and than blasted in the media.

The last time we played Chicago no ovechkin...and our team certainly wasn't as deep...no backstrom or green this time though.

Should be a tough game considering how well both teams are playing.

I'm not a member of the Absinthe crowd, as my tickets are usually at the 400 level. That's more Bud Light Country, but I personally would prefer Yeungling or Smethwick.

Campbell is a game-time decision apparently. Bolland is out due to the elbow delivered by Kubina.

An observation from VC (that applies to several instances this year): it takes massive levels of douchery to wear Pens gear to a Caps vs. Hawks/not-Pitt game. Massive.

there was some broad in a Pens jersey sitting next to Goat at the Caps/Canes game the other night that tried to jump in front of him when they showed him on screen.

Yuengling
Smithwick
Had you spelled one of right, I would have left you alone. But you got them both wrong. I thought old people were supposed to care about spelling.

HERE WE GO!

I may not know how to spell them, but I do know how to consume them.

I suppose you're one of those like Mark Twain would note, "that sits there like an envelope without any address on it", and just stares at the labels on bottles. Some life of the party you must be.

Hmm yuengling...I remember when you could only get it in PA pretty much. We used to get a case of yuengling long necks for $12 in college and you could return the bottles for 5 cents a piece. Always liked it better than rolling rock

They've been all around and at VC all year.

Lots of Pens fans who live in the area are straight clowns.

They're just asking to get yelled/cursed at.

Kinda like the tards in Pronger and Richards Flyer jerseys at the WC

Yeah, I saw that. Its an embarrassment that some Caps fan brought her. No chance anyone doing that would come to a game with me
