11th straight 100 point season for the Red Wings. Note to Sather: THAT is how you run an NHL franchise.

20th consecutive season in the playoffs. That's damn impressive as well.

Against anyone not named the Rangers, they often do.

Montoya is going to be playing on a grudge for the next 5 years.

This is ridiculous. The very teams who smack us around with absolutely nothing to play for play like complete clowns against teams we need to lose.

Unreal.

Besides my dad, is there any Islander fan who wants the Islanders to lose? On the Islanders board, they want to win, and it also seems that way listening to the crowd.

And why arent the Caps using Holtby? Why was he sent down? Is he hurt?

Neuvirth and Varlamov are not going to help us at all

2-1 Isles, they are playing to win. I can't believe the Leafs will be 3 pts away if they hold on 2nite

My take on it; the top 6 players in this draft are all great. You could take any one at #6 and have him be just as good a prospect as #1.

Isles would probably want Larsson, but I imagine they would be pleased with any of Larsson, Murphy, Couturier, Huberdeau, Landeskog, Nugent-Hopkins

Don't worry about the Leafs. After today, they have three games left against the Capitals, Devils, and the Canadiens.

Yup.... and an excuse for being tied for the second least GA/G in the East.

Since the Rangers gave up the same amount of goals, why don't people give our defense just as much credit as the Capitals?

Jhonas Enroth is playing pretty well for the Sabres. The Caps better win this one.

... really?

Not saying I agree, but a certain 6'1" Swede probably has a lot to do with that perception.

Feels weird rooting for the Devils and Islanders on the same night. Could you imagine if the Flyers were the ones playing Buffalo tonight? I think I'd probably self-combust.

Does anybody remember the Rangers playing spoiler to any bubble playoff teams between 1998 and 2004?

BTW the Devils have 10 shots on goal through two periods.

A point does not help Buffalo much in respect to us, as they have the tiebreaker regardless.
