I don't see how that could do anything but hurt your ability to stickhandle.

If you're a pure beginner I guess that might help with getting the motion down. I got better by stick handling a tennis ball in the backyard and playing as much as possible.

yea i don't see how this helps other then giving you mislead confidence, the key to better hands is practicing with the real thing and it isn't hard. get a ball/puck and a stick and go in your drive or out on the street and simply stickhandle around for a while no joke...

That thing reminds me of all the whacky golf gadgets invented to groove your swing, a la Kevin Costner in Tin Cup.

The green biscuit is hands down the best off ice training tool I have used.

I tried it out for a review, not a fan, grab a green biscuit and a stickhandling ball instead. If you want to learn do something that is AS close to the actual motion as possible. i definitely recommend the GB and a golf ball or stickhandling ball and just practice, practice, practice. The halo will get old quick! I got pretty bored of it after a few minutes

Also since you said you need better hands you might want to check out this article I did on how to stickhandle.

I did a video as well, just talking about (and showing) some things I learned over the years that I wish I knew right when I started, it will give you some things to work on
