Mitch Fadden on unconditional waivers

I didn't see a thread for this anywhere so please feel free to delete if it's a dupe but Mitch Fadden was placed on unconditional waivers with the intent of terminating his contract.

From a local beat writers Twitter:

ECHL Florida's Mitch Fadden on waivers so contract can be terminated, Yzerman said, citing "off-ice issues." He and agent saying no more..

Fadden, though, apparently arrested in Salmon Arm, B.C., for suspicion DUI and being "violent" with officers, Salmon Arm Observer reported.
Fadden was having a breakout year in the ECHL but had a lot of questions going into the draft about his attitude and work ethic.

This all went down at 1 PM. It is worth noting that Fadden has been out for a bit with a blood clot in his leg and it could be some kind of reaction to the meds but I would assume that Yzerman and co. wouldn't dump the kid unless they knew it was alcohol or drug related.

Story from the local paper.
