Huge win for the Flames, I really thought if they lost this one then their season was probably over as far as playoffs are concerned. They dominated this game from start to finish and even though this was an easier game for them, I really think it could go a long way for them getting some confidence going into a tough road trip.

GO FLAMES GO!!!!

Great win tonight. Although it was against the cellar dweller Avs, this was a good confidence boost. Hope they keep that momentum going on the road trip.

Congrats to Kotalik for being relevant again.

That's the way it should be vs. Colorado.

Kipper with a game saver, and Kotalik with work ethic. Two key factors.

If Kotalik can keep his play up it really helps our depth issues moving forward, especially since Modin looks like a complete fail.

Tangauy and Iggy are magic, I'm loving it. Long ways to go, but if they put together a decent winning streak we can turn up the heat on other teams.

I know, I know, it's been asked a lot. But damn, backlund's been pretty good. legitimate number 2/1b center?

I'm really liking how Backlund has looked the last few weeks. If his development continues the way it should we may have a special player on our hands.
