Auld 4-0-2 0.97 GAA .965 Save % lifetime vs. NYR, wouldn't mind Price getting a rest tonight after a big win last night... plus I'm going to the Minnesota game Sunday and I want to see Price play then.

I hope we don't start Price...as much as we have injuries and Auld starting could mean a loss, we need to give Price a few nights off so he isn't burnt out in a month's time.

I agree, I hope we start Auld, he's got a great record against the rags and Price deserves/needs more and more rest until playoff time.

3-2 Habs

Auld should start against the Rangers, he got that team's number and Price needs to rest while he can.

Also, looking at the standings, pretty funny to see that the Habs, with a ridiculous amount of injuries to key players, has the 2nd best record in their last 10 games in the East, second only to the 9-1 Caps. Pretty damn amazing.

He was a beast last night. Whenever things started going off the rails he would calm things down with a simple play or two that often go unnoticed.

He's not flashy but he does so many little things right that go unnoticed, it'd be nice if JM could cut down on his PP minutes just because we need him to log big minutes for us at even strength.

Back to back game, on the road, depleted line-up and Rags have won 4 of their last 5....

Palushaj looks like he never wants to go back to the AHL. I see a 2 goal game from him, one from Eller...

3-2 Habs!

It's unfortunate that the Habs have to play a road game against a better rested team that would like to move ahead of the Habs. I'm as concerned about Price as I am about some of the overworked forwards and Dmen. It would be a big help if Plekanec and Halpern can suit up for this game. While the Habs would still have a margin over the Rangers if they lose this game they would be sacrificing a game in hand against Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, and especially Boston. I hope they can salvage at least one point.
