Kings vs. Flames - 03/21/11 - POSTGAME THOUGHTS & TIDBITS

**** YEAH! Onto the next game.

Trainwreck, but I'll take it. Of course we had to give them a point though... Hopefully Williams is O.K. or else this win came at a very high price.

Worried about the offense but we got the 2 points and this late in the season it's all that matters.

I'm pretty sure Jarrett Stoll is the best shooter in the shootout.

Seven for eight? Holy crap.

Big W. Even though the SO kind of only makes it a 1 point win, good for the confidence.

There is your Terry Murray special 2-1 win. Murray just jizzed his pants.

Johnson needs to buy Quick and Stoll dinner.

Kopi's move was dirty in the shootout. Loved it. I laughed when Stoll scored because Kipper is big on watching footage so he had to anticipate the high glove and Stoll goes low blocker. Quick was good. Johnson wasn't. Willy with his annual injury. Don't just give Moller the call up. We could see someone new...Holloway maybe? Who knows. Lets hope we don't need to call anyone up and that JW is okay.

Anyone else think all these shootout wins are going to screw the Kings at the end of the season.

And if I remember correctly, the one miss was where he tried to get all cute instead of sticking to his bread and butter. Now let's get him to do that on PPs

Feels great to get 2 points. Quick was good as usual.

Kopitar and Johnson both had rough games. It might be popular to bash on JJ right now, but he's been struggling for awhile, months.

Martinez continues to be strong. Perhaps he should be getting more ice time.
