Game #71 Thrashers @ Sabres (7:00 pm, MSG-B, SPSO)

No one else started one, so I figured, why not.

Buffalo - 34-28-8 76 points 8th place
Atlanta - 30-29-12 72 points 10th place

Season series Sabres 2-0-1

Most Recent meeting, Buffalo won 4-1 Feb 23rd in Buffalo.

Big game, Sabres win 5-2.

The cold streak continues. We lose 3-1 with an EN.

The Sabres couldn't bury Toronto or Carolina when they had the chance. They better have learned from those mistakes. They need to put Atlanta away tonight and not let them crawl within 2.

People say that before every game and lately it seems like it never happens.

I mean, Vanek has been playing well in other areas of the game lately, but when's the last time he's had a huge offensive night? I can't remember. He has 3 goals in his last 16 games.

Rangers and Hurricanes both won last night. Time to see what this team can do when they have the pressure on from behind.

Crazy.... I had a dream Connolly did something in this game, and SportsCenter had a Top 10 relating to it.

Good or bad, Sabres win 6-2.

3 days rest, this team better come out on fire. losing this game would greatly decrease our chances of getting in the playoffs, and at the same time allowing a 4th team to enter the mix.

Got a late invite to this one. Get to watch from a suite tonight! Let's hear the new goal song and beat Les Thrash! Going against my usual prediction:

Swords - 5
Les Thrash - 2

WIN!

GO SABRES GO!!!!

C'mon Sabres a big win tonight and a Leafs loss vs Boston will effectively put the Maple Laughs and their delusional idiot fans known as Leafs Nation out of the playoffs for the 7th straight year hahaha!!

It's amusing when people pull a random number of games to support their stat arguments. He also has 8 points in his last 6 games.
