- The first 55 minutes were pretty good, lots of chances, solid D, some strong 'tending.
- They got a point...
The Bad -
- The whole team just fell apart at the end.
- Five minutes of bad hockey from key players cost them the game.
The Ugly -
- The midgets tonight were mental ones.
- Blown opportunities. Tom scores on his chances? Not an OT game. And then he's not fishing in the OT, nor is Myers-Sekera standing around leaving people uncovered. That was just crap.
- Sekera on the second goal.
- Miller unable to cover on the second goal.

Vanek needs to stop hanging his head. He's been playing fairly well, but after every missed goal he seems to kind of flop into the boards, or stop moving for half a second. is anyone else seeing this? It seems like it's getting worse the more close misses he has....
I think this name better, so I'll post in this GBU.
I expressed my opinion in the GDT, so I'll just go with the...
Good:
1 point better than 0 points
Connolly is getting better and better
Pominville played the game of his life
Gerbe, Gaustad, and McCormick were dominant down low
All 6 defenseman were great until OT....
Ennis and Gerbe are still red hot

I don't see that at all. Look at the two-on-one with Pominville late where he regain possession and quickly turned back to the slot. If he was moping like you're implying, that wouldn't have been the case.
I thought Miller played well and made a lot of good saves. But man I have never seen him bolt off the ice faster. The goal light went on and Miller was halfway to the locker room.
U: Miller. He is better than this. And if he's not, get him out.
miller is less than average this season ,he is really eractic mentally as he will make the diffucult stop then let in goals he should have it is a mental thing for sure .

Looked like Dom after the Darius Kasparaitis goal in '01....

Look earlier in the game, at the shots where I think he was stopped more on good saves than a bad play by him. I feel like it's happened since the breakaway miss a couple games back where he kind of slid into the boards and look like he hit them.
I am not saying it's on every single play. I'm saying I think it's happening.
Maybe one of the locker room reporters will get a chance to ask Miller why he darted off the ice, unless his goal was to get out of there as fast as possible to avoid talking to them.

He played like garbage. NHL goaltenders don't let goal #2 and #3 happen. He lost his focus at the end of the game and it cost us.
Then his teammates hang him out to dry in the OT. I'm surprised he didn't break something.
Disappointing loss, but on the bright side, the Sabres are 3 points up on the Canes with even games played.
Truthfully as long as they keep getting points out of these games, I don't really care what happens. As long as they make the playoffs I'm happy. This is something that will hopefully remind them that they can't take a shift off, and they'll be better for it.
