Im a little worried about this game. Coming off a hard fought emotional win and having a chance to get back into the top 8 means Ducks usually come out slow and uninspired.
Hopefully I am wrong.
Im actually worried too but for the reason that every time the Ducks have a chance to put themselves in a good position they lose. They can always win the games that get them close to the playoffs but then they always lose the game that gets them in. I hope im wrong.
Since Calgary is the team I am thinking falls out, cannot lose this game (duh).
They are going to come at us hard and fast, so we need to get extremely solid 'tending from Ellis (if he's who starts, as I'd expect).
Would be nice to *finally* see Getzlaf dominate - I thought getting shoved and hit in the face with the puck yesterday might have pissed him off enough to play harder, but no, that didn't do it...maybe if Jarome gets up in his face it will.
PS. I'll be at the game. Ducks fans we should all be going bananas at the pond tonight.
You guys are so lucky. I have been a ducks fan since I can't even remember and I've never been able to see them play in Anaheim (I live in Alberta, Canada). I hear Honda Center is one of the nicest rinks in the league too. Something I must do before I die...
Must be a regulation win tonight. RPG needs to come out strong, especially Getz. Dominate shrek's line. Place Beauch out against Shrek whenever possible. Get in his head, in case he has forgotten about their fight during the play-offs. I hope Lubo pots a couple tonight. Teemu needs that seemingly elusive powerplay goal. Huge game tonight, with so many things riding on it. Let's leapfrog some teams tonight. Let's also end this thing quickly, so the Flames still have energy....and hopefully more than a little rage left for when they play the queens on Monday.
